I am going to compare Korra in season 4 and Aang in season 3.
Korra has been in the South Pole training her hand to hand combat and the three elements with the white lotus . Whenever she fights we see the physical but aggressive side of her. Unlike Aang , Korra never thought outside the box. Aang was more of a tactical person. Whenever his enemy's hit him he always use to dodge them in every attack. You never use to see him fighting with his hands.
