This is the story of how i met my best friends. This is the story of how I learned Loyalty. It was a Saturday morning when, my annoying brother, Vern was trying to get me out of the house.
"Vern! I don't want to go to your stupid damn tree house" I yelled at Vern.
"Come on Patricia, It's not stupid" Vern insisted. "If you don't come I'll tell billy you were the one to crash the dodge."
"You wouldn't" I snarled at him.
"Yes I would"
"Fine"
We walked outside, of our house.
"You're the worst brother in the world" I groaned.
"Come you'll like my friends" Vern insisted.
"If they're as annoying as you are... I won't"
"Come on Tris, just for a half an hour"
"fifteen minutes"
"Fine"
"But the second one of your slimy little friends hits on me or calls me any pet names I'm out"
"Oh come on they won't call you any names"
"I'm just saying if they do I'm out" I complained.
We approached a shabby looking tree house, and Vern walked up to it. He climbed up the ladder and knocked, I'm assuming, a wrong knock. Two or more boys where at the tree house.
"That's not the secret knock" they said and then they continued to be an ass and not let him. After Vern started to beg and plead they let him in.
Oh so there these kinda guys. I don't like them already.
We climbed up into the tree house that looked surprisingly nicer inside then it did outside. Me and Vern climbed up the ladder into the tree house. There were three boys , two sitting at a table playing a card game, and another sitting on a window seat reading a magazine. The boy reading the magazine looked at me while I sat down and then smiled while he looked back at his magazine. I rolled my eyes.
"Who the hell is this chick?" A boy with blonde hair and glasses asked.
"This is my sister, Patricia" Vern said proudly.
"Your ugly, Billy is ugly, how are you hot?" another blonde boy asked laughing.
"Cut it out guys" The brunet reading the magazine said.
"Aw Gordie you got a crush?" The blonde boy with glasses asked.
"Piss off Teddy" Gordie, apparently, said. And I guess the blonde with glasses was named Teddy.
"That wasn't a no" Teddy laughed.
"I'm out" I yelled throwing my hands in the air.
"Wait Tris" Vern pleaded. I ignored him and started to move the table.
"I'm sorry Tris. Honestly. My names Chris" The other blonde said. He put his hand out for me to skin it. I rolled my eyes but his hand was still out. I did there stupid handshake and then sat back down.
"What do you guys even do here?" I asked.
"We play cards" Teddy said shoving his hand of cards rudely in my face.
"Hey Chris he's got 2 Aces and a king" I said grinning.
"What the hell!" Teddy yelled at me.
"Don't rudely shove your cards in my face" I remarked.
"I like you tris, you're sassy" Chris laughed.
"More like a pussy" Teddy said under his breath.
"What was that teddy?" I asked. "Just because I have a pussy, doesn't mean I am one."
"I'm gonna go get a Dr. Pepper" I said.
"I'll come with you" Chris suggested.
"Sure" I confirmed. We closed the tree house door behind us and started to walk towards the store.
"Why did Vern bring you to the tree house?" Chris asked.
"I don't know, maybe he thinks I don't have a social life" I said.
"Do you?" Chris asked.
"I have a few friends, but I like to draw more." I said. "How about you?" I asked him.
"Me? I guess I mean I have those three" he said referring to Vern, Gordie, and Teddy, "but I guess that's it" he replied.
"Yeah I get it I only have two friends, and they get annoying" I replied.
"Oh really" he asked me cocking an eyebrow.
"Do you know how many times a day they talk about boys, if I hear another word about Robert Black's hair or Tad Summerville's eyes, I swear I'll puke" I confessed. Chris laughed.
"You think your brother is any easier to deal with, every time Gordie tries to tell a story Vern always has to interrupt, I feel bad you have to live with him." Chris told me.
We walked into the store. I grabbed a Dr. Pepper and Chris grabbed a Coca-Cola, and put 50¢ on the counter.
"I got it" he said to me. I didn't argue. We walked out of the store and Ace and Charlie walked past us. Ace stole the Dr. Pepper from my hands. I turned on my heal and glared at Ace.
"Give me back my soda, you faggot" I gridded.
"How about no" Ace said.
"Your a real dick, Ace" Chris said. Ace completely ignored him.
"Charlie have you ever wonder, how ugly fucks like Vern and Billy can have such a hot sister?" Ace asked Charlie.
"Not until now" Charlie said.
"I'm only gonna say this one more time Ace, Give. Me. Back. My. Soda." I said getting angry. Ace went to go take a sip of it, when I punched him across the face as hard as I could. I yanked my soda out of his hand and started to walk away.
"You bitch!" I heard him yell. Chris looked at me weird.
"Just ignore him," I told Chris walking away.
