"Najma! This summer is gonna be soo much fun! I can't believe were going to camp together!" proclaimed Jen as she threw this and that into a suitcase.
"Ya i'm super excited! I hope we're in the same cabin! this is gonna be so much fun" replied Najma.
They had both found out about this camp online, and having both not been to camp before they jumped at the opportunity to go.
"My bags all packed! are you ready?" asked Jen as she slung her old duffle bag over her shoulder. "yah... oh wait!" said Najma as she ran to gather some last minute items.
"Now i'm ready" announced Najma as she returned with an arm full of Cheetos, snacks, earbuds, and a camera. "Good idea with the Cheetos... but whats with the camera?" asked Jen. "The camera is to save the memories of camp duh." proclaimed Najma trying to outsmart Jen.
Their friendship survived on the sassy comments, and sarcastic jokes towards each other. They constantly kept it going back and forth, like a game of tennis with no winner. This summer they had nothing planned and spent most of their days together watching Netflix and eating snacks, so going to camp seemed like the perfect option to get outside and have some fun this summer.
Jen rolled her eyes and replied "Najma it's camp, you're gonna have like no time to take pictures"
Najma trudged out of the room with her suitcase "well you never really know"
"well I guess thats true, well we gotta go and catch the bus or we will late"

"So Jen it says on this pamphlet new campers are to arrive any time today between 11:00 - 4:00, We should arrive at around 3:30, hopefully we're not late cause that would suck"
"ya, we should make it there on time... WHAT IF THEY TAKE OUR SNACKS! I.. I couldn't survive.. you know I live on a very strict diet of snacks and Mountain Dew.."
Najma knowing jen was gonna panic interrupted quickly "Jen they can't take away our snacks if they don't find them, hahaha just, stop worrying so much and even if they do take our snacks we won't die"
"ha OK I guess you're right, they can't take them right, anyway i'm gonna get some sleep this is supposed to be a long bus ride"

"Jen wake up we're here" said Najma shaking Jen back to life. They had been on the us for 4 hours and Jen somehow managed to sleep the whole way. "Jen how many sleeping pills did you take?"
"Funny Najma, for your information I didn't take any" sarcastically replied Jen as she groggily reached for her watch "It's 3:45 so we gotta hurry"
They got off the bus in a hurry and ran to the meeting spot where staff members were waiting to take in new campers.
"Hello! welcome to Camp Orchard are you here to sign up?" asked a man with curly brown hair probably in his mid 20's
"Yes we're here to sign up!" answered Najma
