16: a distraction

hokage: kakashi go bring back this man. His name is ritora. He holds some secrets of konoha apparently connected to danzou.

kakashi: I understand. Danzou huh...

kakashi pov:

"ryuu ryuu... " I mutter under my breath. Unexpectedly hokage heard it, " I understand your feelings. She was precious to you in ways. But you have to know the path she has chosen."

kakashi: hai.

The path she has chosen. Sometimes I think... was it my fault that she was being pushed towards that path. If it was... is there anything I could have done to make you turn around? Damn it... 

I turn to leave " I will leave immediately hokage. "

hokage: arigato. Be careful of danzou's subordinates.

kakashi: hai.

tenzou: I see. I understand. I will come along.

kakashi: arigato.

tenzou: no no, its nothing. Erm... senpai. If we were to actually encounter taichou. I mean ryuushi, what would you do?

kakashi: I... don't know. Stop her I guess. I guess you haven't gone used to the fact she is gone to huh.

tenzou: hai... she was cold but she was a nice person. She really cared even if she didn't show it.

kakashi: tenzou. What made you turn around to stay with the hokage?

tenzou: you senpai. Family. Friends. Connections. Danzou's path is a cold... and lonely... one. Senpai... I'm pretty sure ryuushi would turn around someday.

kakashi: ah. Arigato tenzou.

We had retrieved the man ritora. He wasn't that bad of a ninja but we managed to catch him. Oh, we as in anko,tenzou and me. We had him tied up and were bringing him back to konoha. Just then, kunais fly and we scattered. An anbu appeared. Apparently not one one of us.

That size... hair... mask... is she...

kakashi: ryuushi?

tenzou: eh?!!! True that, that figure looks like ryuushi.

" kakashi hatake give me ritora. "

anko: just one of you. Aren't you getting a little impudent?

 " you don't understand. That man is a threat to konoha."

kakashi: you are ryuushi!! Ryuu ryuu!! Come back to our side.

ryuushi: tsk. This is why I didn't want to come. *points at ritora* Give him to me!!

kakashi: he is a threat to danzou. You are doing the wrong thing.

ryuushi: I will judge that myself!!

tenzou: taichou!! It is cold and lonely on that path!! Come back.

anko: tsk. She doesn't seem like the kind that listen though.

" anko-san is right. I won't listen. Danzou is right. You people... are too soft... " she flash steps and got in front of anko. Anko lets snakes out from her arms . Ryuushi lets the snakes bites onto her neck. No expression of pain, she threw the kunai at anko's heart. Anko deflected it away. Ryuushi retreats in her steps and cuts the snakes off with a katana.

anko: not bad.

" I guess. " Just then mokuton comes out from the ground and tries to grab onto ryuushi. She slices it away with her katana and charges towards tenzou. I won't let her. *clank* My kunai to her katana " ryuu ryuu. " I couldn't see through her mask but I could tell from her hand... she was trembling. " stop this." She suddenly retreated and stabbed herself with her blade " urusei!!! I don't want to hear from you!!! " 

" kakashi...san..." ritora sweat drops. A kunai by his neck.

anko: shit!!

tenzou: ritora!! Ryuushi!!

ryuushi: kage bushin no jutsu. You're not the only one who knows how to use it. I wouldn't advise you to touch me. All my threads attached to all his organs. Even as a bunshin, as long as you try to destroy me, I retreat, the threads pull. Sayonara ritora.

ritora: kakashi-san!!

" you were too distracted with me. kakashi. " the real one talked. I turned to see the real one who was now bleeding " if you want ritora back, kill me. "

kakashi: it doesn't have to end this way.

She tugged a little and anko pressed onto her heart. A thread.

anko: *eyes widens* that kunai... it was a distraction.

ryuushi: don't bother cutting it. I can just attach another one. The needle is embedded inside.

anko: *cuts* mazari's technique.

ryuushi: unless you dare to open your flesh and see your heart, then take out the needle.

" let go of her" I revealed my sharingan " its me that you hate." She takes out the needle " you're right. I do hate you. " She charges towards me. A flash step and she is right in front of me. Her katana clanked against my kunai. I have no heart to fight her or even hurt her.  The seals of her katana spreads to my kunai...

Just then snakes grabbed me and moved me aside " are you an idiot?!! kakashi!! "

kakashi: anko.

anko: you might have known her. She might have been someone important. But you have a mission!! You can't just throw your life away.

Ryuushi appeared behind us " yea. Mission. Copy ninja." Just then a water rope wrapped around her waist and pulled her back. 2 anbus appeared. " this wasn't the mission ryuushi. "

ryuushi: oh. Kill ritora huh? Right.

The bunshin pulled herself away from ritora puling the organs out killing ritora " there."

" let's go back. "

ryuushi: hai.

kakashi: ryuu ryuu!!

She stopped in her steps. Is it me... or... she cried? Tears flowing from behind the mask. Is that tears? " don't call me!!! " and they flash steps.
