Chapter 1
"Alright," my dad huffed as he put my last suitcase on the rolling cart, "that's the last of them." He smiled and engulfed me into a bear hug. I swear if he starts crying-
He sniffed.
Oh god.
"I'm going to miss my baby girl." My dad mumbled. He pressed his lips to my head more than just once. Mom soon jumped in making it a group hug. I sighed. I guess I should have expected this. I hugged back all while struggling to breath.
"Guys. Unless you literally want to hug me to death..." I started breathlessly. They let up wiping their tears. "I'll miss you guys, too." I smiled softly. They smiled too at a lost for words. They just couldn't believe their little girl, their only girl, is off to college. I mean, they've already delayed it for 2 years. So unlike normal teens that start college at around 18-19, I'm starting college at the fine age of 21.
I waved them goodbye and rolled to the table where dorm keys were collected.
"Annabelle Stevens." She searched through her pages on her clipboard and recite my name repeatedly until she found it. With a big smile-huge actually, she had entirely too many teeth and handed me my key. I gave her a tight smile and rolled off to my room.
"The struggle is real." I moaned as I finally made it to my room. I shoved the car in my room and stumbled in. Slamming the door shut I huffed and fell on my bed-well I hoped it was mine. I sat up and glanced around the room. My roommate hasn't shown up yet. I shrugged and began to unpack.
Later, when my roommate finally arrived, I cringed inwardly; she was the bubbly type
"Hi! I'm Samantha, your roommate. But you can call me Sam." The dark skin girl smiled and stuck out her hand. I gave a small smile and we shook.
"Annabelle. Or Anna." She smiled skipping to her side. Her dark hair coated at the tips with blonde bounces on her shoulders. I noticed a small diamond speck on her nose. Everyone has that piercing now-a-days. She wore navy blue shorts that were distressed at the ends with studs at the right back pocket. She also wore a white tank top that was tucked into her shorts. She completed the outfit with classic Chucks. We could be friends.
"So what's your major?" She asked cheerfully as she hung up her One Direction poster along with her Finding Nemo, Despicable Me, Jonas Brothers, Robert Downey Jr., Glee, Once Upon a Time, and The Vampire Diaries posters. She looked at me after her last poster was hung with a frown. "Hello?"
I shook my head, still amazed at the amount of posters she owns. "Drama...you?"
"Music. And my minor is Drama."
"So you sing." I smirk and plop down on my bed. She blushed and pushed her now empty suitcase under her bed and sat down legs crossed on the bed.
"Maybe." She pushed her hair back and smiled showcasing perfect teeth.
Yea...we could get along.

I found myself a comfortable seat in the back of the stadium. Being the rebel that I was, I was the first to arrive into class. No one was there yet; not even the professor. It was the last class of the day and I just wanted to get the day over with. Could time go by-
"Hello there. I'm Professor Christopher Stone. May I ask who you are?"
"Annabelle Stevens. Feel free to call me Anna" Oh. Never thought a teacher could be actually good looking. No, this is beyond good looking. This is fine specimen--gorgeous. I thought they were all old and gray and dull...and old. He was tall about 6'2 and had a strong build. The white v-neck he wore really broadcasted his defined arms and rock stomach. His legs were covered in faded jeans and completed with Timberland boots. His eyes were a icy blue grey color. His hair was messy dark brown hair, and very defined angles. He had sharp features and amazing cheek bones. If looks could kill, my funeral would be going on right about...now.
"Well, Anna, lovely to meet you. An eager one I presume." he said, striding to the stage, glancing back at me.
"Yup. I'm especially excited for the end of the class." I rolled my eyes and slumped in my seat. He opened his mouth to reply but closed it when the students filed in. Sam ran over and plopped next to me. I smiled. It was the only class we had together. Soon enough she was waving down someone. A guy with, as I say, just fucked brown hair and baby blue eyes. He wore sweats and a gray wife beater. I see he dresses to impress. Sam jumped up and hugged him and then they sat down in their seats.
"Anna this is Cid. Cid this is my roommate Anna."
"You're a sexy lil' thang aren't chuh."
My eyes widened, "Thank...you?"
"You want me. I know you do. Don't deny it."
"Uhm actually...... Why not. Tonight. My dorm, dorm 169. At midnight." I smiled sexily and his reply was a wink. Sam sat awkwardly and cleared her throat.
"If I could just cut through the sexual tension." She mumbled and we both laughed.
Professor Stone cleared his throat staring directly at us. "If you don't mind, I'd like to start class now." The professor said sternly. He stalked back to the stage and started, "Welcome to Drama. To some of you acting is just a hobby. Others believe that acting is not just performing, it's adding this character as alter ego. Giving this character a history, a story as if they are your best friend. We do more than put on shows here. In my class we tell stories. We move people. So if there is anyone in here who isn't going to give 110%," he stalked to the door and swung it wide open, "then please get out of my sight and take a F for the year. However, if you can handle this, if you can take what I have to offer, then show me." Everyone fell silent and looked around. No one left. I guess this meant everything to everyone. I mean it was hell enough trying to get into Juilliard as it is.
"Oh my god, he's so hot," someone to the left of the stadium voiced out loud.
"Sir, would you mind giving me your number?"
Shit. Dumbass.
"I'm sorry young lady, but I'm afraid I have to say no. Even if I wanted to give it to you, I couldn't, for it is in my contract that I can't have any personal affiliations with my students. Moreover, it's illegal." Professor Christopher said bluntly.
"I don't mind breaking the law." Cid raised his hand confidently. I giggled at his antics and he smiled at me. Professor Stone glanced at him but didn't acknowledge Cid. He simply continued to drone on about the usual first day rituals.
"How about, we start with getting to know about each other." He smiles.
Oh brother.
