Chapter 6: Elizabeth's P.O.V.

" Holy shit, you little fucker. You did not told me much earlier that your cabin has a lot of books!! " I quickly exclaimed once I saw their Cabin's little library, it wasn't really little it was almost half of the cabin, while the other half was their desks with a lot of blue prints and laptops, almost the extension that was added to their cabin was for their bunks.

" Well you little bugger, you didn't asked anything about it. " he said as we walked towards a book shelf, I took a book that caught my attention, the title was ' The Real myths ' I quickly took it then James lead me to his bunk, I was sitting on it while he sat on the floor.

" Where are your siblings? " I asked him while examining the demigod-less room.

" Probably all around camp. They've been as they said ' relaxing their minds ' for a while . " he said shrugging his shoulders, I was reading the preface while he was talking, half listening to what he said, I'll never progress if I'll continue reading, so I guess I'll read later.

I closed the book then sat Indian style then said

" To be honest, I really thought that after entering this cabin, I would probably see almost all your siblings doing some stuff. But seeing this library got the disappointed feeling covered. " James chuckled then said

" That's good for you. You know, I never really understood it, throughout your life, since I met you that is, you've always been you. Doing whatever you feel you want to do, and me? I've been living from my dad's expectations of me that it's scaring me sometimes. " oh, now there's the loop hole.

" You're an idiot. Everybody has their own façade, at first thought you'd feel like they're being who they are but in fact, it's just one of their masks, and you'll never know the real them unless you'll try to break their walls. " after saying that James just look at me then said

" What have you done with Rosie!!! Give her back you Alien-possessing-human-body-parasite!! " I then kicked him which caused him to fall on the floor then laugh.

I just looked at him laughing miserably, then after a while his laugh died down and he started crying, he truly is an idiot.

" tell me James, what's the real you? " I asked him, lying down on my stomach looking at him, he just stared at the ceiling for a while, he exhaled then he started talking.

" James Raphael Lavernus, 21 years old, 3rd year college in Yale University, have been living under his father's expectations of him since childhood, always on top in every class and tired of all those shits. Besides than that, he's also a son of Athena, but too dumb to confess to his dad about the real him, a coward who can't even face his crush. I'm a worthless and confused gay boy that's too scared to face anything. " he said while his tears were slowly falling down his face.

" You know I could still remember it clearly, it was a saying that truly inspired me, it helped me survive from school literally, ' Don't face your enemies at the same time, do it one by one. ' In terms of battle it's better to face your enemies one after another and not all at the same time, since you'll be over-powered, right? " I asked him and he nodded

" I'm sure you know where this is heading, I mean you are a smart lad after all, but I'll just say it anyway, face your problems one by one and not at the same time. " I said calmly but his response wasn't as calm as mine, he erupted like a fucking active volcano.

" Easy for you to say! You have no idea how nerve wracking it is Rose, what if my father disowns me?! All those success I've worked so hard over the years just to make him proud of me, would all be for naught if he can't even accept that his son is actually gay! And what about my mom!! The fucking Goddess of wisdom, I'm sure she'd be really disappointed at me for making a dumb decision!! I can't let that happen, just even thinking about it is making me go crazy!!! And besides, who would even be serious with a gay boy in terms of love!!?? No one!! No one likes gays, no one does. "
