<Y/N's POV>
We finally arrived at Thorpe Park after the long 2 hour drive. I look over to my boyfriend, Alex, to see him smiling at me. Little did he know that today was the day I was breaking it off. Alex had always been verbally abusive. The only reason he didn't physically abuse me was because he didn't want me to go to the police with evidence. I started getting jitters as we got out of the car. We walked hand-in-hand to the admissions office to get tickets. (I live in the U.S. so I have no idea how this works... bear with me xD) I saw a group of hilarious guys in front of us. One guy in particular has the most infectious laugh you have ever heard. I looked back over at Alex as he paid for our tickets. He glared at me,"Why are you staring at those bellends? Do you know them somehow?" I looked at him shocked and offended. "Alex, why the fuck would I be checking other guys out? I have you." Alex half-smiled at me before turning around to give the lady our tickets. We got into the park and saw so many rides we wanted to do.
•Time Skip to the break-up part because idk what rides are at Thorpe Park😂•
"Alex? Can I talk to you for a second?" I asked Alex nervously.
He came up closer and looked at me, questioningly. (IS THIS EVEN A WORD??😂)
"Alex, We have been dating for two years now and all of the verbal abuse has made me go insane. I think it is time to break it off. I am sorry but I am so tired of being broken down everyday that I see you." I quietly say while salty tears slowly descend my cheeks.
He looks at me for a second and then slaps me right in the face. "Whatever <Y/N> You are just a dumb bitch." He storms off and I am left standing there holding my cheek. I slowly walk over to the bench and cry quietly to myself.
I hear some voices quietly whispering on the bench next to me. I peek out of my hands to see the group from earlier standing there looking at me. The one with the glorious laugh walks over to me and sits on the bench with me.
"Are you ok? My name is Ethan and my mates and I saw what happened. You seem to nice to be sitting next here crying."
I smiled at his kindness and replied,"My name is <Y/N>. Thank you for coming to see if I was ok. You and your friends seem really nice."
He laughs,"You want to hang with us for the day? I'm sure they won't mind." I softly nodded my head as Ethan grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his mates. "Guys, This is <Y/N>. Are you guys ok with her chilling with us for a few hours?"
They all sang a chorus of agreement. I smiled softly as Ethan introduced me to each of his mates one by one.
Simon.
Vikk.
Josh.
Harry.
JJ.
And Tobi.
I wave timidly at them and they smiled before engulfing me in a big group hug. I started crying again and they just squeezed me tighter.
•Time Skip to the end of Thorpe Park•
I had to bid my farewells to the guys. I got all of their numbers. They typed their own names into my phone so I wouldn't spell them wrong.
They gave me my phone back and then I hugged them and thanked them for today. Before everyone left, Ethan slipped in a kiss on my cheek and the guys cheered and were saying things like,"I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!" and I saw Simon give Tobi 20 bucks. I scrolled through my new contacts after they left.
