Chapter 24: Big day

Evan's POV:

I was standing under the archway waiting for the music to begin, I guess I was really nervous because Tyler was whispering me to calm down. I turn my head to see everyone smiling and taking pictures. Skylar carrying Ali, David (Daithi de Nogla) with Lui and Brian (Terrorizer) on the front seats; some old hockey friends, and family.

I was smiling like an idiot but then I realized that everyone stood up and I saw the door open and I realized what was happening, I saw Jonathan wearing a white suit, Luke was walking him down the aisle.

Everything went slow motion, he was now standing in front of me with a smile on his face, I felt a tear fall from my face, but it wasn't from sadness, it was from all the happiness and love that I felt towards him.

The priest started talking and everyone sat down, "Today we are here to unite two man who knew they were meant to be together but before we start, they have made their own personal messages for each other" the priest said and then I saw Jonathan take a small piece of paper, "All those hard moments that I felt alone, with no one beside I never realized that you were there for me all the time, you change my life in a way that I can't explain, and I can't promise to love you forever because I'm not immortal but I promise to love and care for you till the day of my death" Jonathan said with a few tears in his eyes, I wipe them off with my hand and I soon took my piece of paper.

"I though that I will never be able to find the love of my life but everything changed when I meet you, the love that I feel for you is unexplainable, unstoppable and I'm happy to say that all my love belongs to you. I hope you know that whatever happens to us, will never stop us from being together and it will never stop my love for you, I love you so much that I can't even explain and I'm so lucky to have someone like you to spend the rest of my life with" I said I could see a few tears in his face, I heard a few sniffs from the crowd but I only cared about the love of my life that was standing in front of me.

The priest smiled and continued, after a few minutes and us putting the rings to each other the priest was about to say to kiss but the door opened and I heard a insane laugh with a gunshot. I turned my head to see everyone running away and Luke carefully pushing Ali and Skylar on the ground and then I saw Marcel coming closer to us, I stood in front of Jonathan afraid that something bad will happen to him.

"DO YOU THINK YOU WERE GOING TO GET RID OF ME THAT EASY" Marcel started yelling pointing the gun at my face. "Did you think I was going to let you ruin my day cause a stupid letter" Jonathan said, stepping in front of me, so thats what the letter was about. "Oh little Jonathan, you think you can protect everyone, you didn't protect you mother when I killed her, THAT'S RIGHT, I KILLED HER" Marcel said still pointing at me. I saw Skylar standing up and Jonathan was ready to kill somebody, "STOP, Marcel who do you think you are to ruin this day" I said trying to get him to get away from Jonathan and Skylar. "Don't worry Evan, because if I can't have you then nobody can" He said and then he was getting ready to shoot the gun.

I closed my eyes getting ready for the impact, an impact that never came, I heard the gun shot but I never felt pain, I open my eyes to see Jonathan giving me a weak smile and I realized that he jump in front of me and I saw that his white suit had a red spot on his chest, "I ...Love...*cough* you" he said while coughing a little of blood, he feel backward but I was able to catch him.

I saw Marcel getting ready to shoot me but I saw Craig tackling him on the ground, and trying to punch him but he was now on bottom and Marcel had the gun on his throat getting ready to shoot but Tyler grab Marcel front the back and took the closest object to knock him out.

I looked down to see Jonathan with his eyes closes, he was still breathing, but barely, I carry him and ran to the nearest hospital, I didn't bother taking a car but I ran so fast, my legs hurt but that didn't stop me, as soon as we reached the hospital the nurses got a bed and they carry him to the surgery room.

Everyone was around me, trying to tell me that everything was going to be fine but I didn't pay attention since I was looking what they were doing to my lover but then my everything went quite and everyone looked at me and my heart stopped when I heard the most disturbing noise in the world, BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
