Chapter 9: Kevin

A/N: Once again, I know, sooooooper boring reading these, but still, I think it is nessesary. Obviously, I have not reached my goal of 20 votes, but 53 reads tells me I am doing something right. Ariel's POV

"But Niall, we can just go to see Caroline's face when Lou shows her!" I slur. I haven't had my coffee yet, but at 6:00 this morning, Niall picked me up, and dragged me over to his dorm, which he shared with Louis and Zayn. Zayn was never around, and Louis was always at our place, so we had the dorm all to ourselves.

" I think you'd like the movies better! Pretty please?" His face was so cute, and pouted, but I looked at him and said, "No."

"Fine, you can use Zayn's hair products to get ready, and Lou has some of Caroline's clothes stashed under the couch cushion in case she stays over." He says, still perky. How can Niall be such a morning person? He still continues to amaze me.

I step into the bathroom and take a quick shower, using only products that say 'Property of Niall, the Leprechaun'. When I finish, I dry my hair with a towel and throw it into a ponytail. Running out in my towel, I search under the couch cushions to find them spare clothes. I pull them out and see a blue peblem top and black skinny jeans. As soon as I turn around, Niall is staring at me.

"Erm, you found the clothes." He says awkwardly. "Great, um I'll go into my room now." He said.

I chuckle knowing that I made him a bit uncomfortable. Once back in the bathroom, I change. When I look around for shoes, I see none. Then there is a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yell. Niall steps in, covering his eyes with his hand. "All clear." I mumble.

"Here, I thought you might need shoes, so I got the smallest pair I could find. Are they ok?" He asks nervously.

"Perfect." I say. I get onto my tippy toes, and kiss him on the cheek. He blushes, and we both walk out to his car.

Caroline's POV

Louis was bothering me so much while he was driving, that I decided to text Kiara Lyn.

To: My Other Half

Hey chicka señorita, how goes it?

From: My Other Half

Crappy. Where are you and Ariel? I woke up and u 2 were gone

To: My Other Half

I'm sorry, boo. Idk where Ariel is, but The Sassmaster from Doncaster is taking me to a secret location. Apparently it is better than laser tag, so I suspect a Drug Warehouse.

From: My Other Half

Be safe, and I am just gunna eat my feelings out of 3 quarts of ice cream. Bye

To: My Other Half

Kk, just don't become all diabetic on me, bye

I put down my phone and watched Louis drive. After about five minutes of me tracing his cheeks and jaw with my finger, he stares at me. The car has stopped. How long has it been stopped for? "Like what you see?" Lou asks, chuckling.

I look at his face intensely, like an art critic staring at a painting. "Nope," his face fell. "I love it!" His smile returned, and he got out of the car, and came to my side. He likes to open doors for me, which my dad likes, too.

I get out and I am suddenly staring at a giant PetSmart. Lou and I were getting a pet. A 'baby' and it was going to be all ours. Secretly I was hoping for a snake, or a turtle, or a bird. But if he got a puppy, I would still freak out.

We walked in and Niall's Range Rover pulled up. Ariel stepped out in my emergency clothes, and holding hands with Niall. Aww, they were together! Ariel ran up, followed by Niall,and I smirked.

"You look good in my clothes." I said, imitating what Louis had said earlier. He chuckled, and pulled me over to the Fish/Bird section. I ran straight up to a regular looking bird, or pigeon, actually.

"That's him." Louis said. I stared at him confused. "That is Kevin, and he is now under our care." I stared at Kevin for a bit while longer and started to sing a medley of songs that just made me happy. My smile was from ear to ear, and I probably looked like The Cheshire Cat. I ran into Louis, and straddled his hips because I loved Kevin, and him, and my life.

Kiara Lyn's POV

I hate my life. I hate Harry. I hate school. I hate YouTube. I hate Caroline. I hate the band. I hate everything. I should just give up, right? I can't. I can't give up, because I promised my sister, Alice, that I wouldn't. She is apart of the Army, like my and Caroline's dad's were. She deployed three days before school started. Three days before Harry.

I needed to get out. I needed Starbucks. So I put on a huge sweater, and walked outside. I ran to the bookstore, because that was were the nearest Starbucks was. As soon as I entered, I saw Zayn kissing some girl in a booth. She had black hair down to her jaw, and glasses.

"Dessy?" I asked. Zayn immediately stopped kissing her and looked at me.

"Hey, Kiara Lyn, meet Destiny, my new girlfriend." Zayn smiled, genuinely happy.

"Oh my god. Dessy?" I asked. For the first time, she looked at me. "Kiara Lyn?" I nodded. She rushed out of the booth and hugged me.

"So I take it you two know each other?" Zayn questions. We nod.

"Zayn, Destiny is Caroline's sister." I say.
