Chapter 2: Trying to Find Nikki to Tell Her What Happened

~~~Nikki's P.O.V.

"Hey Link do you know what this particular place is called?" I asked the boy whom I found out was Link from Skyward Sword.

"I don't know the name of this place in particular, but the general term for the land we are on is the surface." he states, then asks "Also, Nikki how did you end up here?"

"Well, where I am from my friend and I were about to play a video game called The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, when all of a sudden bright flash happened and instead of being in the room we were originally in we were over by the temple a bit further down the hill." I explained to him.

He looked at me like I was crazy then said, "That still doesn't make me trust you, but I guess you could tag along. Also, do you know any method of fighting that involves you using a weapon?"

"Um, I don't actually. I think it would be good for me to know though. Just so I am not just a distraction for any enemies." I state after hesitating a bit.

"I guess I could teach you how to protect yourself with a sword, so I don't have to save you all the time." he says slightly annoyed.

~~~Maki's P.O.V.

"Just where did Nikki go?" I say to myself while wandering around aimlessly. After a bit I stop walking and look to see where I am only to find that I wondered into the forest behind the temple and now have no idea where the hell I am. "This is just great now I am lost in this forest and I don't know where Nikki is." I huffed and decided to find a place to rest that would be safe considering I am in the game Nikki and I were about to play. After a bit of searching I find a place that looks like it would be fairly safe to rest in. I climb the tree, find a branch that is sturdy enough to hold me, and accidentally fall asleep.

~~~Unknown's P.O.V.

"Hmm. It seems like there are a few people in Faron Woods. I am pretty sure that two of them are not supposed to be here." I say aloud in the empty room I am in in Skyveiw Temple. Then I start to head towards the door to the room, but stop before I reach it. "Maybe one of those people will be the spirit maiden. No, I am pretty sure the girl in the final area of this temple is the maiden, so that means one of them might be the boy that was with her when I made that tornado that brought her here. Which means who are the two others that aren't the inhabitants of these woods. One of them is sleeping so I guess I could check out who they are." After I say that I teleport to the area where the person should be, but see no one on the ground, so I look up and see a girl sleeping in one of the trees. I teleport up onto the branch that she is on so I could get a better look at her. A bit after I do that her eyes start to flutter open.

~~~Maki's P.O.V.

My eyes flutter open when I feel that there is some more weight on the branch than when I got onto the branch. Once my eyes were fully open I saw that there was a man who had white hair that covered one of his eyes, a white body suit that has diamond shaped holes, a gold belt with a red diamond gem, and a red cape. "Who are you?" I question after taking in his appearance.

"I am known as Lord Ghirahim. Now what is your name?" Ghirahim answers ending with a question.

"Maki. What exactly is it that you are doing by staring at me while I sleep?" I say and then question.

He looked over me and noticed how different my clothes were. Then he said, "I was curious about who the non-inhabitants of these woods were and you were the one I was most curious about. Now why are you here in Faron Woods?"

"I was sucked into a video game with my best friend and now we can't get back to our world without making the 'bad' guys be the winners. If you need proof of what I say then you can read this letter to see that I am telling the truth." I tell him, while a bit cautious of what he was going to do or say to that.

He grabbed the paper from my hands and read it over. Then he looked at me before asking, "What kind of weapons or magic are you good with?"

"Um, none. I never learned how to use any weapons and there is no magic where I am from." I reply a bit confused as to why he asked me that.
