My eyes peeled open slowly and painfully the crust sticking to my lashes pulling harshly at them.

I groaned loudly throwing my legs over the side of the bed onto the cold wooden floor boards. The winter sunlight seeped through the curtains alerting me that the morning had arrived.

"You getting up?" My sleepy voice called my housemates out of there deep slumber as if I didn't they would sleep all day.

"Morning" Calum groaned appearing from his room, many of my friends. Not that I had many. Had called him 'attractive' however after living with him treating him like a sibling had erased my mind of thinking he was attractive. I will admit that he did have a very appealing structure and build and his face was chiseled but non the less he was still more of a brother to me.

I smiled painfully before slowly stepping cautiously on each step towards the ground floor. I still hadn't fully awoken and was therefore still in a state of sleep.

"Good morning" I chirped opening the windows and trotting into the grand kitchen to reveal my other house mate. His calling was Ashton. He was the first of my housemates, Ashton had no family nor friends nor home. I spotted him homeless just over 3 years ago and in that time he has become a great friend and business man, merely a shell of his former self.

"Morning, where you off to in such a hurry" he smiled biting into the apple which was held in his large hands.

"I'm going to work" I announced grasping my phone and keys in my palm and strolling towards my car which lay dormant in the cobbled driveway. Many of my friends had flashy cars which purred like small kittens but my pair of old wheels had served me well.

After a 10 minute drive through the hustle and bustle of the city I approached my parking space in the old, crumbling building car park.

"Morning!" I called echoing throughout the old cafe in which I worked.

"Morning Giselle!" The owner who's name was Talulah chimed back cheerfully, she was slightly older than me but not as tall. Her physique was spectacular and her tiny frame helped her maintain her perfect look.

I pulled on the burgundy apron which encased my name badge and pulled open the curtains, signalling to passers by that we were open.

"Tal? Have you seen this?" I asked staring at my phone, business was slow as usual and the only customers were older regulars who ordered the same beverage day in day out.

"What's that?" The girl peered over my shoulder.

"There's been 5 cases of people complaining that the guy in black has been sleeping in their back yards" I mysteriously looked at the image of a sleek man wearing all black perched on an old fence of a garden, is was creepy to say the least.

"And he hasn't been caught?" She laughed as a customer walked through the door.

Time seemed to stand still as he looked at me blue eyes piercing. The mysterious boy was tall, very tall and covered in spirals of black ink.

"Hello" I smiled hoping to entice him in "what you after?" I leant on the counter leaning towards him.

"Strong coffee please princess" he smirked a grin playing on his lips. His thick Australian accent clear as it rolled off of his tongue.
