Chap.4

---Katie---
We decided it was best to walk till we found a small town closer to our destination to our luck we found little town with a motel a market and a gas station. We went to the motel to see how much it would be for a one night stay. "What can I get you three young folks?" He asked us Travis was the one to step up and talk "Well sir we need a place to stay for the night and so we were wondering what your cheapest room was?" What shocked me was how polite he was, his brother looked just has shocked. "Well my cheapest room is $30 if you would like that?" We all nodded and he gave us the key to room #256. The three walked to their room and saw that there was only two beds and a bathroom. "I'll take the floor." said Travis "Fine I'm going to take a quick shower you two get some sleep." I said before taking a pair of clothes and my sword in to the bathroom.

After Katie went into the bathroom me and Conner were getting ready for bed when he said "Dude did that counter dude look strange to you?" This question startled me because he seemed pretty normal to me "No, why do you ask?" "No reason, just he didn't seem like he was...normal." What concerns me is that Conner said this all with a scared look on his face. "How about you tell Katie when she gets out of the shower I'm tired, or you can sleep on it and tell her in the morning." Travis said, but by the time he finished Conner was already passed out on the bed. I took a pillow and a sheet and fell asleep on the floor.
---Katie---
While I was in the shower I heard the boys talking but, couldn't here what they were saying. After a while they stop I'm guessing they fell asleep. I got out and got dress and walked out to see Conner on one of the beds and Travis passed out on the floor. I took my sword and laid down in the other bed trying to fall asleep when the door opened. I looked and the guy from the counter was creeping into the room, I rolled off the bed making sure I made no noise and the screamed so loud Japan could hear him! Travis and Conner woke up, Travis got to his sword but Conner was tied down to the bed and started screaming in pain. Travis had this angry expression on his face and then told me his plan "You save my brother and I take the big ugly dude." He said it and was off not even waiting for my response. I turned to Conner and cut the rope and he sighed in relief "Thank you Ka...TRAVIS!" He yelled
