Chap.9

We arrived at camp and we were greeted by Chiron and my sister Miranda. "Children I see you have made it back from your quest safely." It was good to see his voice again. Before I could answer Miranda came running up to me and tackled me in a hug. "It's good to see you too, but please loosen the grip I can't breath." I told her "sorry I was just so worried that you were going to get hurt!" She said loosening her her grip and then letting go. "So Chiron do you know why we had to get the flower?" Travis asked "Yes child I have, it turns out the flower is for a young girl who showed up just yesterday. An Apollo child found her and brought to the infirmary where she's been since." The story made me freeze for a moment "Katie are you ok." Travis said looking concerned "Yeah I'm fine, Chiron can we see the girl I would like to see what's wrong." I asked trying to change the subject. "Yes of course follow me." He said heading towards the infirmary. Me, Travis, Conner, and Miranda followed him and when we got there, there was a little girl about 8 or 9  years old. She was pale and really skinny. "What time did she get here?" Conner asked "Around 5pm last night she's hasn't moved since." Explained Miranda then she started to talk about her condition but I zoned out and started to walk over to the girl. She looked even paler up close. I couldn't see anything wrong with her so I touched her hand I saw all of these images of the girl and her being claimed by her godly parent and her adventure here then I clasped.
---Travis---
Miranda was telling us about the girl situation when Katie walked over to the girl and touched her hand. For a few seconds she was fine then she fell and I ran to catch her and Miranda screamed as Chiron was calling and Apollo child to help. "Katie! Katie!" I yelled when Will came in and told me to put her on the infirmary bed. I put her on the bed and she was starting to look like the little girl.
---hours later---
Katie was still in the infirmary so I went to check up on her and found her awake and talking to the girl.
---Katie---
I woke up to see I was in the infirmary still I turned and saw the girl sitting up in her bed reading. "Hey." She said seeing me sit up "Hey how are you feeling." I asked "I feel fine...now I mean after being nocked out for two days. I can tell I missed a lot to where am I?" She asked "You are at Camp Half-Blood the camp for demigods." I told her "Ohh so I'm a..." She didn't finish because someone was at the door and that person was my stupid boyfriend Travis. "This is Travis he's a child of Hermes and I'm Katie daughter of Demeter." I told her. To my surprise she started laughing "You really think I'm supposed to believe that I'm a child of a Greek god/goddess! I'm not stupid you know you can just tell me where I am!" She yelled "I know it's hard to understand everyone goes through it when they first find out their a demigod but it is true and to prove it to you I'll show you my power." I said grabbing a plant put it in my lap and the plant started to grow till it was a full grown daisy. "Wow you really are I'm sorry I screamed at you I didn't mean to." "It's cool everyone goes through it in their own way. But I just have one question for you, what's your name?" Travis asked "Right sorry my name is Kelly." I look down thinking about how I saw all of what happened to her and who her parent is and I already knew her name. "Katie you okay you look like your going to be sick."  I looked up and and Kelly and Travis were both staring at me "Yeah I'm fine I'm just thinking." I lie "Katie your lying again you know I can tell when people lie." Travis said I knew I couldn't keep lying so I told them what happened when I touched her but left out the part about her parent. "Wow I'm so sorry I did that to you!" She said scared "No no it's fine you had no control over it!" I said trying to calm her down. Travis started to get up to leave "Sit Stoll now." I said not even looking at him "How do you do that?" He sat down and we talked for a few more minutes before Chiron came in "Ahh finally your awake."

Sorry for the wait you guys but school started up so I won't be posting as much but I'll try 😊
