Michael's POV
He is going to ask out Meg. This is what I wanted right? I mean I don't want to still cling onto him if I'm going to be with Lindsay. It still hurts me knowing that he is with someone other than me. Ray is talking to him right now I really hope he doesn't tell him that I love him. They come back inside with Ray looking aggravated and Gav looking upset. I wonder why. Ray walked over to me "hey um I was wondering can I talk to you?" He asks. I nod my head and we walk outside. "How do you feel?" He asks. "I'm fine" I say which is kinda true. "I mean about him asking out Meg" honestly it kills me but I'm trying to get over him and by him having a girlfriend maybe that will snap me into reality. "I need to get over him. He doesn't like me so I need to drop it anyways I have Lindsay."
"Ah! You both suck!" He yells walking inside. I look at him confused but then I follow him inside. We finish up our drinks and have a few more then me Ray Lindsay and Gavin head to my house ready to play a game. Lindsay wants to play Mario Party so we start it up. After about 3 hours everyone heads home and me and Lindsay go to sleep.
Ray's POV
Ugh they are soo stubborn! How am I going to get them together if I don't tell someone that the other likes them? I have to right? I mean its obvious that they both love each other.
Gavin's POV
I wake up and get dressed. I walk to work and take a deep breath as I walk into the building. I'm gonna ask out Meg. I walk to Lindsay "hey Lindsay" I say. "Oh hi Gavin. Are you still planning to ask her out?" She asks. I think of Michael and nod my head. This is for him. "She is in the break room" she informs me. I walk over to the break room and walk in. "Hey Meg" I say to her. "Oh hi Gavin. What's up?"
"I was wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me tonight" I ask her. "Huh oh yeah that'll be fun" she says. "Its just I always thought that you liked Michael" she says which makes me widen my eyes. "Er no what makes you think that" I say nervously. "Well just the way you acted around him and the look on your face when you would see him with Lindsay. Maybe it was just because you had lost your boi to a girl" she says. "Yeah it was that. I had lost a lot of time to hang with him because she started to." I lie to her. "So tonight at 7?" I ask her. "Yeah sure"
Ray's POV
I walk into the building. Gotta find Gavin! I gotta find him before he asks her out. I walk around and then go to the break room. He asks her. "Yeah sure" she replies. "Fuck me!" I say walking away. But maybe if I talk to Michael. I just want them to be happy and if they are happy together that is even better. "Hey Michael may I speak with you for a moment?" I ask poking my head into the office. "What you want dick head?" He asks. "Just come with me" I say motioning for him to come over. I close the door as soon as he walks outside and then I drag him off to where we could talk without being heard. "Michael-"
"Look Ray if it has anything to do with Gavin I don't wanna hear it." He cuts me off. "But Michael-"
"I'm trying to get over him he doesn't like me!" He starts to get angry. "Michael he-"
"No I told you I don't want to hear it I have Lindsay and he nows has Meg!" He yells at me. "Michael please-"
"Look Ray-" now its my turn to cut him off "look Michael listen to me and my words right now. Do you like Gavin?"
"Yes but-"
"Would you like to become his boyfriend?"
"Yes but-"
"Then why should you let anything stop you?"
"Because he doesn't like me"
"That's the thing, do you 100% know that he doesn't like you?"
"No but-"
"So don't you think it is worth the try?"
"Yes but what if-"
"What If what? He rejects you? He won't trust me." See I have found a way. "You've just got to ask him tomorrow" I tell him. "And I will be here so I will know" I let him know. "But what if he does say no?"
"Then he does just move on with your life" I tell him. "Fine I'll do it" he finally agrees. I smile at him. "If I do this and he says no I'm not gonna ask again no matter how much you ask." Oh that's OK he won't say no.
