To Mr. ------ ----

Dear Mr. ----,

While your conversations and actions never failed to humor me, I'm afraid to say that beyond talking with you or my other two friends, my nonstop talking is replaced with no more than a few sentences, at most. In the time period of no talking, I will be thinking. I know, a white girl thinking?! Impossible! But it's the truth.

Now to get past my racist comment (even though I was insulting myself, and the other idiots that have gone to school with us), I would like to tell you thank you, for being my dear friend, even though I am probably one of the weirdest girls you will have ever met. The fact that the previous statement doesn't make sense proves my weird nature. Each day of middle school was just a little bit better than it could have been, if you weren't there to keep up my spirit.

In some ways, I would like to think that I am ahead of our time, considering that I can charm adults more than any kid in school. I am sure that you had noticed how I could easily talk to an adult, and continue to have a conversation without seeming like a completely mental person.

Along with that idea, my parents (who are obligated to say this kind of stuff) always told me that I was smart, pretty, and athletic; 3 characteristics I'm sure just about every guy that isn't a douche bag wants in a girl. Our 6th grade PE coach backed up my parents on the bit of being athletic, constantly trying to get my to join Athletics.

I am known to constantly get off topic, and I'm sure that you have noticed, Mr. ----. I thank you for your patience throughout my letter to you. My main point of this whole letter is this: thank you for not giving up on me and causing our friendship to grow. Whenever I thought of boys who would even have a chance at dating me, you were at the top of my list. And while that may be creepy, I hope you can not be too weirded out by your childhood friend.

Sincerely,
