Dear Ms. ------,
My dear friend, while you may no longer remember me, I must say, we were at our closest in 7th grade. Ring a bell?
Maybe not, but, hey, at least I tried. I'll try to spark your memory. Or not.
In 2nd period one day (Art II), you, I and one other, were having a conversation. This conversation somehow led to depression. If you do not remember, here, let me recall as much as I can for you,
"How do you know I'm not depressed?" I had said.
"Because you're...you!" He replied, struggling.
Then you said something along the line of, "Sometimes the happiest people are hiding depression."
That sentence alone is probably the closest you have ever gotten to my hidden self.
Sincerely,
Atkins and Farkle
