"Troye Sivan! You have never been so wrong about anything in your life." Zoe squealed. Troye didn't know how he ended up sitting at a table with Zoe and Alfie, but it had happened, and there was nothing he could do about it now.
"But Tyler is flirty with everyone. He is. I have seen it. I'm not wrong." Troye insisted.
"That's just his personality. The way he acts with you is different. It's all about intent, Troye. I can see he likes you. It's all in his eyes." Zoe smiled and threw her arm around Troye.
"Sure... Even if he did like me, I messed up really badly the other day. He made a move, and I ran away." Troye looked at the ground. He hadn't intended to talk about anything Tyler related with Zoe, but she just seemed so trust worthy. It was like they had been best friends for years.
"He'll forgive you. I'm sure of it. He really likes you. I promise." Zoe rambled laying her hand on Troye's shoulder.
"Maybe..." Troye said staring at the table. He wasn't going to count on Tyler forgiving him. He was probably too embarrassed about Troye rejecting him to even talk about it. They had talked in passing over the past couple of days, but only with other people involved in the conversation. Tyler never let Troye catch him alone.
"Can I do your makeup? You would look so adorable." Zoe gushed. Troye closed his eyes. He had the feeling that Zoe would find a way to persuade him anyway. She was quite persistent.
"I dunno..."
"Tyler lets me do his makeup," She pouted before continuing, "but he hasn't had much free time lately. Please Troye." She fluttered her eyelashes and stuck her bottom lip out.
"Do you have pictures of Tyler with makeup on?" Troye asked. He couldn't help himself. Now he was curious.
"I do if you let me do your makeup." Zoe said slyly. Her pleading face had disappeared and was replaced with a smirk. She knew she had won.
"Fine." Troye agreed.
Zoe shrieked and hugged him. Troye raised his eyebrows and smiled. He was happy that he was rekindling his relationship with Zoe. Troye glanced over his shoulder. On the other side of the room were Tyler, Hannah, Dan, and Phil.
Hannah had her arm wrapped around Tyler's shoulders lovingly. The two of them had a brother and sister relationship. It made Troye ache for his brothers and sister. They were all back in Australia. It had killed Troye to leave them, but America was where he belonged. He had known it since he was a teenager.
"Shit!" Tyler said. Troye watched as Tyler began to freak out. "I need to clean my room."
"Why didn't you do it earlier?" Troye couldn't tell by their voices whether or not it was Dan or Phil. He figured it was Phil because the interactions he had had with Dan led him to believe he was a major procrastinator.
"Um. I was going to do it this weekend, but the Roy thing made me kind of..." Tyler was talking quietly and Troye couldn't hear him. This gave Troye time to realize that he was just staring openly at Tyler. He probably should fix that. He turned his gaze back to Zoe.
Zoe was looking at him with the biggest doe eyes he had ever seen. Her bottom lip was captured between her teeth. If Troye had to guess, it was because she was trying not to squeal.
