Slugterra: The New Shane

Author's Note (Please Read, Important to the Story)

Okay guys, Cyan's returned for not a chapter, but an author's note. Sorry for any hopes on this being a chapter, I know, I'm posting way too many author's notes and not enough story here!

It's been what, two months since my last chapter? Something like that. Maybe more. Anyways, I have been trying VERY hard to write the next chapter, which SHOULD be easy since it's It Comes By Night, one of my favorite episodes, and I've been wanting to write the High Plains monster for ages. However, I'm having trouble continuing this story. Year-and-a-half-ago-Cyan left a lot of plot holes for future (and now present-time) me, and not to mention my old writing stunk. To those who made it through the first chapters of terrible fanfiction, I applaud you.

Anyways, back to business. I'm not going to keep on writing this when A) I'm unmotivated to continue this story and B) I'm having trouble piecing everything together. But don't worry! I've gotten WAY too attatched to Dana, Sam, and Alana to just leave them. Therefore, I am going back and, drum roll, rewriting this fanfiction.

This story might be a bit of a construction zone for a while- I don't want to go back and totally start over, I still need my old writing and stuff to help me with version 2.0, but I'll be experimenting with Wattpad and how all of this will go down. I want to jumpstart the process this winter because softball will have slowed down. During the spring I'll be starting my first year of high school softball, so I'm not sure how much I'll be online. Either way, I'm planning to be mostly revamped by the first of January, because then I'll be gone for two weeks at Disney World.

I'm going to be busy with tackling this new project, but I'll still be getting back into reading on Wattpad, and with my PMs acting up (as always, please fix that, staff), messages on my profile or comments on stories (not the Hero Academy, which is going to be taken down) would be the best way to communicate, or you can go to my Tumblr (xcyansparksx). I've been pretty active on Tumblr lately, if you want to see some of the art I've worked on, if you go to my blog and search the stuff tagged 'my art', I've got some fanart on Slugterra, RWBY, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Snow Like Ashes, etc. Some of it, of course, features Alana, Dana, and/or Sam.

So yeah, there we go! Thanks for sitting through that. I might do an update on The Teenage Book later on how things have been lately if anyone's interested.
