I am glad there is a voice command on this beast, making it easier to release it, but I am still slightly afraid what does this mean. Another question about my powers and my family I can add to the never-ending list.

Everyone is relieved to see the giant wolf gone, but they don't continue cheering for us. It's like they expected our team to loose. They all look uninterested when Principal Idarin is presenting us as winners, some even start leaving.

Roven left without saying anything too. I only saw him walk away after he shifted back into his human form. Ms. Edite called him to properly celebrate with the team, but he only brushed it off with a wave of his hand, then proceeded to return to his friends. He ignored Synne and almost everyone, only talked to the twins. Roven pulls the two blondes aside and must be discussing something important, based on the shift in their expressions. And it doesn't look like they are in a good mood.

We were gifted the winning cup, which hasn't dissolved this time. Reilly still had it in her hands, but the adrenaline is gone and she must be feeling the full pain of the wound. She slammed the cup against Young's chest, telling him to keep it through gritted teeth. We are meant to choose one person who will keep the cup, or rotate it if we want to. I am not interested, Roven seems to be done with us as well, so I tell Young and Solya to discuss who out the two of them will take it. Most important thing to me right now is getting out before I get caughed by the principals and questioned about that wolf beast.

Warm hands hug my back and the bottom of my knees. The wobbly meat of my legs gets lifted into the air and I am pulled into a hug. Woreus came to my rescue out of nowhere, walking around in his human form. I panick and start wiggling out of his embrace, telling him to quickly hide before anyone will see him and they arrest him for trespassing or something. Woreus only shushes me, his furrowed eyebrows pressing down to his eyes that are scanning the area. He only tells me we have to go fast, then starts walking away towards an exit.

From the side, the group of principals is getting closer to us, but Woreus is not letting them to catch up. Principal Haydos is asking him to pause, since they need to talk to me urgently. His great animal hearing is suddenly gone and Woreus is professionally ignoring the principal's request.

We left the arena and Woreus kept carrying me through the hallways while I pleaded him to take me to the infirmary. I need to check up on Reilly and I don't care about anything else. My brother strictly tells me no as he picks up the pace. He is refusing to tell me what's wrong as well. I gave up on trying to get it out of him, but the worry creates this knot in my stomach, my mind goes through multiple different scenarios to fish out some reason for this situation.

Woreus brought me back to my dorm and told me to pack. I am too tired to walk and get my stuff, also I refused to do it before I get some sort of explanation at least. Woreus didn't soften his expression, instead got more anxious and went to grab my things. The duffel bag lands in front of me with a loud thud, followed by a bunch of clothes flying on top of it. I asked Woreus to tell me why I have to do it, but he only raised his voice, ordering me to just pack. The worry deepened, but I still did as he told me to and started pushing the clothes into the bag randomly.

With packed essentials, leaving behind all the school stuff, Woreus tossed the duffel bag across his shoulder, then picks me up again and carries me out of the room. His forehead is sweaty and he has to grit his teeth. Those are signs of the limit on his transformation, so I ask him to put me down and rest. My brother refuses and keeps moving out of the dorm section.

We suddenly stop moving when this stranger, who was leaning against the wall, suddenly moves into the corridor to block our way. I lean closer to whisper to my brother, asking him who it is, but Woreus has no idea. The slim male dressed full in black suit smiles at us, then gives us a polite greeting. Woreus brushes it off by saying we are in hurry and takes a step, but is forced to walk back when the man halts him.
