POKEMON TRAVELS

CHAPTER 4: Pain

  As i came to i saw blurry outlines of Dawn and May standing over me. I felt a knot on the side of my head and something wet on the ground when i looked at it it was red i was bleeding i had busted my head open after falling down the stairs  when some one bumped into me. May was crying her head off and i was just sitting there staring at them i asked" where is the guy who knocked me down ?"

  Dawn replied" he ran off and josh chased after him he took my Luvdisc for some reason then knocked you down the stairs." well that explains allot may had stopped crying and jumped at me hugging me and squeezing me saying that she loves me. I am thinking i just got knocked out im not dead ill be ok. I sat there as may cleaned up mi head and wrapped it in bandages when Josh walks up and says" he ran off but i got your Luvdisc back are you ok Shadow?"

  I reply" I'm ok my head is just killing me was he from team magma?"

 Josh stares at me and says" how did you know that?"

  I reply " because i heard some guys talking about Dawns pokemon when Rioulu helped me remember who they were." They just stare at me when May says" um we need to take him to a doctor the bleeding want stop."

 I sit there and think it cannot be that bad so i stand up only to fall from being light headed May catches me and says" Ok Shadow we are taking you to the hospital i don't care you need to have your head looked at."

I give her a nod of consent and they help me to the nearest hospital which wasn't far from the contest hall. As we enter they set me down in a chair to sign me in when for some reason i start getting sleepy. A doctor comes out and puts me in a rolling bed and then sticks a needle in my arm then i get even sleeper and fall asleep.

When i come to my head  is wrapped up and May is sitting in a chair asleep next to me. A doctor walks in and  says" she wanted to stay by you so bad we couldn't get her to leave and we need you to stay here for a few days so we can monitor you because you have a bad concussion and we do not want you to end up dying  on your journey."

   I nod with consent and lay there when May wakes up and starts kissing me saying she is so happy I'm ok and that she will stay with me till I'm better. The doctor had somehow snuck out of the room before she noticed him which i thought was strange. After all that May walked out saying she was going to get us lunch and to find Josh and May. I lay there thinking of what i would do here for three whole days. Rioulu had somehow gotten out of his pokeball and sits on the edge of my bed and turns the TV on i laugh a little because he seems just like a little kid. He turns and just stares at me while he is laying on his stomach. He says"  Shadow i don't like my pokeball can i travel around outside with you."

 I reply" sure why not because i actually enjoy your company." I lay there with rioulu watching TV waiting for  May to return i begin to think of what i will do for my adventure and what kind of trainer i want to be  when i get out of this hospital. I am really interested in gym battles but also a pokemon breeder. When May walks in with Dawn i wonder where Josh is  Dawn freaks out and starts hugging Rioulu and picks him up hugging him she says" OH my God you are so cute Shadow can i use him in my contest   where did you get such a cute pokemon?"

  I laugh , Rioulu jumps out of her arms  and lays back on the bed watching tv May starts to laugh to because Rioulu is acting just like a little Kid. I look at him and say " Rioulu can i call you Kid from now on?"

   He looks at me and says" Sure."  We all start laughing when my head starts to hurt again obviously Kid knew i was in pain and uses soothing aura to calm my pain which suprises me. Later in the day me and rioulu are laying in bed MAY is sitting on the couch and Dawn had to leave for her date with Josh so we were all alone and they had me on pain killers for the bump on my head May had fallen asleepand was sayinng she loved me in her sleep which i thought was cute. I changed the channel to Pokemon battle girls to watch Maylene fight the show is about these realy strong girls who fight these huge and powerful pokemon and even win Maylene was my favorite and the best fighter in the league. Today Maylene wasnt fighting which made me mad so i let rioulu watch cartoons which is kind of funny because he looks just like a little kid. My head starts to ache again so i lay back and slowly drift off to sleep. In my dreams me and a lucario are walking through a hot damp cave and we see a red light at the end when we run towards it we see a red and black pokemon thats humongous and  is in lava then i see my dad send  a mightyanna after us, i wake up in a sweat and look around breathing heavly its night and i realize that ive had a nightmare.

I sit there trying to remember the dream i was having but it has faded away and i cannot remember it at all. i look around and see May asleep on the couch and Kid asleep on my lap i had woken Kid up when i raised up and he is staring at me in a look of wonder he says" Are you ok is something wrong you look like you are scared to death."

  I reply " yea im ok dont worry ok Kid." i pet him on the head and lay back down where we fall asleep.

When we wake up in the morning i pet Kid on the head to wake him up he just yawns and stretches until he wakes up. We get up and walk outside i told the doctor i didnt want to stay anylonger he let me leave after telling me he thinks i will be ok. As me Kid and May are walking down the street we see so many signs giving you directions to the different routes we walk down the sidewalks toward Route 104 to Rustboro City
