Chapter 14: Carnivals are fun..sometimes

Chapter 13

Chloe's pov:

All I had on my mind was that note, what does this mean, why is this all happening to me I've been non stop worrying about me, worrying about Anthony I didn't even realize he walked in the room.

"Hey love, I have a surprise for you get dressed and then come down,"

"Okay I'll be ready in a minute," I said and with that he kissed me on the cheek and walked out.

I wonder what the surprise is. I quickly got dressed and walked downstairs only to be greeted by Anthony standing with the front door open waiting. I got into the car and we were off to see my surprise. We pulled up to a freaking carnival!

"Oh my god Anthony I haven't been to a carnival since I was ten this is so sweet of you" I reached over and hugged him

"Any thing for you my love"

We got out of the car and went right to the ticket booth to buy bracelets for the two of us.

"Can we get 2 bracelets?" He asked.

"Of course for you beautiful" the ticket booth guy was checking me out Anthony was getting a little frustrated and asked again for the tickets. The boy ripped the tickets off and gave me A smirk and a wink. That set him over the edge.

"Why are you winking at my ma -girl friend!" His possessiveness sent my wolf howling for joy. But he almost said mate and he has got to not slip up with all these humans around

The teenage boy looked as if he was gonna pee himself he quickly handed me the tickets and closed the window.

"Wuss" he muttered under his breath I had to calm him down after the little miss hap but after wards we had so much fun.

The first ride I wanted to go on was the Ferris wheel.

"Babe we so have to go on the Gravitron," Anthony said.

He has to pick one of the scariest rides first at least that's what I think.

"Yeah sure," I said nervously trying to pull off a fake smile. He started to drag me over to the ride. We gave the tickets to the guy because the line wasn't that long. The guy on the line started checking me out and Anthony did not like this at all.

"Hey pretty lady enjoy the ride try not to get to scared," he said and then winked.

Anthony's eyes flashed with jealousy so I grabbed his arm to try and calm him, they say a mates touch is calming and it was right he immediately calmed down.

"She won't get scared because she has me," the ticket guys face was priceless I don't think he realized that he was my boyfriend

"Oh um yeah.. enjoy the ride too sir " I quickly walked in in front of Ant.

As soon as we walked on the ride I started to get freaked out I was hoping Anthony didn't notice because I didn't want him to think I was a wimp but of course as if on que.

'Babe it will be okay I'm here with you' his voice echoed in my mind. I just smiled and nodded a thank you. I buckled my belt and the ride started.
This isn't that bad, I thought to soon the ride started spinning faster than I could imagine. I clutched Anthony's arm for my life. The ride went on for a few more moments until it finally stopped spinning. I ran out of the ride. "I am never doing that again," I said.

Anthony just looked at me and laughed. I slapped his arm playfully

"Hey don't laugh at me"

"I'm sorry love, hey how about I make it up to you?"

"Fine" I grumbled.

He got up and got down on one knee and opened a little velvet box

"I Anthony promise to love you for all of your worth and try my best to make you the happiest girl in the world I hope one day we will grow old together but for now I would like you accept this promise ring promising that one day there will be another ring on your finger and it will be a wedding ring"

I was in tears but who could blame me I have the hottest boyfriend now ever and he mentioned us one day having a future together and him proposing I looked up into his eyes and they engulfed me with his sincerity and all I could see Is pure love and that's all I ever want to see.

I nodded my head "yes of course"

He smiled his million dollar smile and slipped the promise ring on my finger. I laughed my live was going great for now.

I wasn't going to say no to that offer so of course I nodded my head yes

"Lets get some cotton candy," said Anthony as he intertwined our hands.

We began to walk over to get cotton candy when all of a sudden we heard a loud scream. We ran over to where we heard it and there was a large circle of people gathered. Anthony and I pushed past them and were horrified at what we saw. there was a bloody body of a girl she was in our pack her name was Tristan. There was a small note next to her body which was similar to the one we found the other day and it read
