Chapter 7: meeting the parents

Chloe's pov

The god walked in I mean my mate same thing right. I was sitting on the couch and he walked here and plopped down next to me I placed my head on his shoulder.

"what's on your mind?," I asked

"We are having a family dinner tonight your invited and you have to meet my dad," he said all in one breath.

I gulped what if they don't approve

"Babe I love you they will love you"

He's gotta stop reading my mind

"But it's soooo interesting"

Ugh what am I gonna do with him.

I got up and walked to my room I figured its to soon to move into Anthony's room. I grabbed a nice outfit a silky black dress and belt laid it on the bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. I finished my shower and walked out to see Anthony sitting on my bed looking at an old photo album. I walked out in my pink towel and sat next to him

"You're still so beautiful," he said sincerely.

I blushed a deep shade of pink and looked to the floor.

"thanks" I mumbled.

He kept looking until he found a picture of my dad

"is this your dad," he asked as he pointed his finger to my dad holding my hand in front of Disney land. This was before he turned to drinking and was actually a normal father to me.

My father was still a touchy subject for me. I often thought about how my life would have been different If my father hadn't run away when he did.

"yeah that's him" I let a warm tear go down my face Anthony took his thumb and wiped it away.

"I know it might be hard that hes not in your life any more but i understand"

His eyes glistened as he was most likely recalling a memory of his mother.

"thanks," I said

"for what"

"for being here for me"

We sat in silence for a few moments before I broke it.

"I should get ready," I blurted out I realized I was still in a towel.

"I kinda like this look for you," he said as he smirked.

I blushed I seem to be doing that a lot around him. He got up and lightly kissed my cheek and walking out of the room leaving me with just my own thoughts.

At the family dinner*

I walked into the dining room to see 30 faces just staring at me suddenly I felt subconscious about my self and crossed my arms over my chest.

'Babe your gonna be fine' Anthony comforted me inside my head.

'I know buy they are all just staring at me what do I do'

'just greet them and then sit you'll be fine'

I followed him to the other part of the room as I approached a man in maybe his mid 40's he stick out a hand.

"hello Chloe I have heard a lot about you how are you dear," his voice held authority and sincerity.

I shook his hand.

"It's nice to meet you to sir"

"No please call me Marc"

I nodded and continued to my seat right next to Anthony.

"A toast to my sons mate," Marc called out there were a bunch of cheers as everyone raised their glasses.

"To Chloe," they all cheered

This went better than I thought. Dinner flew by and soon enough I found myself leaving the table. I said my goodbyes then went to his room I haven't seen it yet i am not sure what it's going to look like maybe neat maybe messy. I walked into his room and was shocked it was spotless a queen sized bed with a blue comforter. A few posters on the wall for music a desk in the corner a flat screen in the middle, a nice mahogany night table.

He guided me to the bed and we sat down.

"Did you enjoy the dinner?" he asked

"Yes I loved it the pack and everyone"

"I'm glad and plus I have a surprise for you for tomorrow"

"o yay what is it?"

"Your just gonna have to wait"

I pouted.

"Are you going to drive me home"

"I was hoping you would sleep here"

"where?" I asked.

"On the bed silly"

Did I want to sleep with him I just met him well not like sleep with him sleep with him just fall asleep with him the answer is yes.

"Ok cool"

He put a movie in the DVD player it happened to be my favorite movie The fast and the furious don't judge I love movies like that.

"I love this movie"

"Me too," he said.

We sat in silence as we laid in bed and watched the movie until I started yawning he flipped it off and stripped down to his boxer all I could to was awe at his Abs the bed dipped as he climbed in. He took is arm and pulled me over to him by the waist.

"goodnight babe" he whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Night"

We fell asleep tangled in each others arms and that's always how I want it to be.
