I hope you all are doing well.

Because I really missed you all 🫠

I have a few announcements and a little rant to share, okay?

So without wasting time, let's start with the main updates!

1. Epilogue And Bonus Chapters

First, I want to talk about the Epilogue and Bonus Chapters.

So here is what I have decided:
There will be 2 epilogues and 2 or 3 bonus chapters for the story.

The first epilogue will be posted in November, and the second one in December (most probably on the 31st).

Since my birthday is next month, I am planning to post the first epilogue around that time. I know I won't be doing anything special that day, so I'll post it on my birthday, Inshallah.

About the bonus chapters, I have decided not to post them too soon because they contain many spoilers for other characters and stories. I'll share them only on special occasions or when I start writing the other character stories. But most probably, you'll get them on important occasions. For now, I've decided there will be only two or three bonus chapters.

So that's all for the epilogues and bonus chapters.

2. Editing

Let me take a deep breath!!

I read the initial chapters of EOL and honestly, reading the early chapters gives me so much second-hand embarrassment 😭

Like, what was I even writing?!

Why did I even write that? I was cringing so hard at my initial chapters. Okay, I get it, I was new at that time and didn't know much about writing. So whoever read those cringe chapters, hats off to you 😭

But your author has improved a lot in the past 21 months. It took me almost 21 months to reach here, and I am still learning every day.

So here's what I have decided after reviewing the story-

Chapters 1-25: Need major editing, especially the cringe parts 😞
I'll be adding details and improving the writing. And fix some timeline issues. If you want, you can reread, but even if you don't read, there's no need because the story will stay the same.

It will just be written with more clarity and detail.

Chapters 26-40: Only minor editing is needed. I'll fix a few scenes, correct grammatical mistakes, and again fix some timeline issues (if it is there)

Chapters 41-74: I don't think much editing is needed here because these chapters are already detailed and complete. Maybe just a few grammar corrections, nothing major.
(Will see while editing it)

Note: The main story and scenes will remain the same. I'll just make the writing smoother, clearer, and more detailed.

Now I'm confused about how to do this. Should I-

1. Unpublish the whole book, edit everything, and then repost it?

2. Or edit side by side while keeping it published and update you each time I edit the chapter through the message board?

Unpublishing seems easier, but I know many of you are still reading it and new readers too, and I don't want to ruin your flow 😭

Since I am barely getting any time now and might not get much in the future, I want to finish editing this month itself. It won't take more than 10-15 days because the initial chapters are short, and I can edit them quickly.

So whenever I decide to start editing or take down the book, I'll let you all know through the message board.

3. About Other Stories

If you have been with me from the start, you already know I have two more books planned after EOL. One is "Ishq: Whispers of the Heart" and the other is "Entangled Fates" (which was actually my first-ever story. It's a mix of crime, thriller, mystery, and romance.)

Right now, it's unpublished because your author messed it up badly and got so embarrassed 😭 But it's okay, I'll rewrite it in the future if everything goes well, Inshallah.

I don't want to rush into writing the next books. I want to take my time and write them with the same passion I had before. That's why I have decided to focus only on Ishq for now, and later, I'll write the other character stories (Vani-Sid and Tanya-Yash) because their books was later decided by me. So let me go with the sequence which I thought before because I don't want to mess again with any of my book.

After finishing the epilogues and editing, I'll be taking a break, probably until AUGUST 2026🙂

I really need this time for myself, my studies, and my exams. I need this break more than oxygen 🙂

I started writing to stay stress-free. It's not really my hobby, but something that helps me relax.

So if i publish my new book and start writing, I might be able to post 7-8 chapters of a new book till December, but it won't be regular. I'll only write when I get time. I don't want to feel pressured for constant updates .I'll update whenever I can

Now a Little Rant🥹

Thank you so much for reading this book, even though the first few chapters were messy and cringey. I know, I know 😭 But you still gave it a chance and stayed till the end, and that means everything to me.

This story might not be perfect or full of big twists like many of you enjoy, but it was always meant to be a light-hearted, cozy romance, something warm and comforting.

This was the trope from the beginning, and I mentioned it many times. So, for those who expected twists and turns, I am sorry it didn't meet your expectations. It was always meant to be a comforting, feel-good story.

When I started this book, I was at a very low point in my life. Writing it helped me get through that phase. Even though it's full of mistakes, it's very close to my heart.

The reason this book exists is because, sometimes, when people are hurting, they try to build a world where things don't hurt anymore, where everything feels gentle and perfect, even if it's just for a while. That's what this story became for me....an escape, a little world I created to forget my pain.

I know nothing is perfect, and my characters have flaws too, but I still wrote this story with all my heart.

When I read EOL now from a reader's point of view, I can see its flaws. I know there are mistakes, and some of you might have wondered, "Why did the author write this?" or "What was the need for this scene?" and honestly, I agree 😭

But from a writer's point of view, this book represents my growth, my lessons, and my comfort place.

Even if some people didn't like it, the fact that so many of you gave it a try and trusted me means a lot.

My future books will be completely different from EOL 😭✋🏻 I'm both scared and excited to explore new writing styles and tropes 🤭 I just hope I'll do a good job in the future too.
