Let's get into to the story,

The car was moving at a steady pace, cutting through the winding roads of the hills. Shravan’s hands rested firm on the steering wheel, his eyes flickering between the road ahead, Shivu who was sleeping peacefully in the passenger seat, and Saakshi in the back.

From his view, it looked like she was simply admiring the scenery outside.

But Saakshi wasn’t seeing any of it.

Her mind was tangled elsewhere.

Her name… etched on his chest.

The image refused to leave her. It didn’t look recent. It looked old… like it had been there long before everything broke between them.

Her brows drew together.

If it was old… then why?

He himself had said he used her. That everything was just part of his revenge.
Then why would a man like that carry her name on his skin?

Nothing was making sense.

Her fingers curled slightly as another thought crept in.

Aadhi.

He wasn’t someone who agreed to things easily—especially when it came to her.

Even recently, he had been so firm, so guarded when it came to Shravan.

Then how did he agree so quickly for this?

And slowly, her thoughts drifted back to the previous night

She had been moving slowly in her wheelchair along the corridor, the house wrapped in late-night silence. As she crossed Aadhi and Anjali’s room, their voices drifted out—low, but intense enough to make her pause.

She hadn’t meant to listen.

But something in Anjali’s tone made her still.

“Aadhi…” Anjali’s voice carried clear confusion. “I’m really surprised you agreed so quickly for this treatment.”

There was a pause, then she continued, her words more pointed now.

“That too a treatment where you won’t even be there with her. Shravan himself said you can’t come because of me… because I’m pregnant. Still, you agreed to send Saakshi with him so easily?”
Saakshi’s fingers tightened slightly on the wheel of her chair.

Anjali didn’t stop.

“You know how you are when it comes to her. You won’t even take a small risk. Then how are you okay with this? And that too… sending her with Shravan… when things between you both are still not completely alright?”

Silence.

Anjali’s voice softened, but the doubt only deepened.

“And this treatment… how are you so confident it will cure her? I know you, Aadhi. You would never agree unless you were completely sure. So how are you this sure?”
