Corrupt Shadows (Sequel to 'The Demon Child')

First Appearence

Shadow brought you into your room and threw you onto the bed. "Did you seriously have to throw me?" she just smiles before leaving the room. You sigh and wrap the blanket around you before falling asleep. 

Dream

You're completely dressed in white and standing in a white room. "So, I guess you won't be joining us." you turn around and see the same guy from your previous dream. "Such a shame. We could have ruled an entire realm, just me and you."

"I'm glad I ruined your dream."

"Oh you didn't ruin it. We'll just have to do things the hard way." Red liquid then begins to run down the walls and fill the entire floor till you're standing in a puddle. "You see this? This is the blood of your friends." you look at yourself and see that you're covered in blood. "I'm going to kill every single one of them. And you'll have front row seats."

"I won't let you. I'll die before you can even lay a finger on them."

"Well then you'd better hurry. Cause i'm already here."

Dream Ends

Your eyes shoot open and see that he's pinned you to the bed. Your mouth is covered with a shadow to prevent you from screaming but you still make noise anyway. He has yellow glowing eyes (the picture) "You look so..delicious." he bites into your shoulder with his chainsaw-like teeth ripping it apart, making you scream.

Shadow's POV

I'm downstairs just staring at a wall.

"That wall looks very interesting." Offender says standing next to me.

"Indeed." 5 seconds later.

"So tell me. (Y/n) said that you were a ruler of something called the Shadow realm. She also said that you were trying to kill her. Is that correct?" he sounds a little defensive. 

"Yes i'm the ruler of the Shadow realm but no I would never try to kill her. Sure I do stupid things to her but that's just cause i'm a moron."

"Huh...So how did you two meet up?"

"She was being attacked by a rogue and I linked our souls in order to save her."

"A rogue?"

"A rogue is a-" my eyes become wide. "(Y/n)." I run upstairs and head straight for her room. I slam the door open and see a rogue ripping into (y/n)'s shoulder. "(Y/N)!!"  I dash towards them and punch him.  "GET OFF OF HER!!" I kick him in the face sending him flying out the window. 

"What's happening?!" Offender comes running into the room. I point to (y/n).

"Help her!" I then jump out the window and follow the boy. "GET BACK HERE BITCH!!!" i'm charging after him through the forest, dodging trees,  when something smacks me in the face, making me fall. I quickly get up and look around. Where did he go?!  After 10 seconds of looking around I realize that he's gone."FUCK!!" I punch the air, as if that's gonna help. (Y/n). I hurriedly make my way back to the mansion, jumping back through the window into (y/n)'s room. I see Offender trying to tend to her wounds but its not doing much. He's trying to pull of the shadow covering her mouth while (y/n) looks as if she's about to pass out. I run over to them and straddle (y/n). Her shoulder is ripped to shreds and bleeding like crazy. The entire bed is covered in blood while it drips onto the floor. First I take the shadow off of her mouth and she begins to cough. I then wrap her should in some shadow's that are a very dark blue. "These will heal you." 

"Why wasn't I able to heal her before?" Offender asks sitting on the bed."

"She was attacked by a rogue. They eat you alive using special kinds of shadows that stop anything from healing it. The only thing that can heal it are with more shadows." 

"Is everything alright?" Splendor is standing in the doorway. He can't see (y/n)'s upper body because Offender is blocking her. "What's going on?" he seems to be getting more worried by the second. "Why is there blood?! Where's (y/n)?!" he walks over and gasps when he sees (y/n). "Who did this?!" I look up and see how worried and angry he is.

"She'll be fine." I say trying to sound calm.

"WHO DID THIS?!" his eyes are starting to glow red. This isn't good. Offender stands up.

"Splendor calm down!" Offender says holding onto his shoulders.

"DID YOU DO THIS?!"

"Splendor." (y/n) says weakly. Splendor and Offender look. "Splendor. I'll be fine. Please calm down. Shadow already took care of the intruder." I nod. I can't let him know that he got away. And since i'm a shadow he can't read my thoughts. Splendor seems to calm down before sitting on the bed, slowly stroking (y/n)'s cheek. I take off the dark blue shadows off her shoulder and show that it's now healed. I get off of the bed and stand up.

"She's lost a lot of blood. She'll need a lot of rest and will be tired for the next few days. Keep a constant watch over here and call my name if anything seems wrong. I have some business to tend to." with that I teleported to my mansion. I went to go find Nero. He's the leader of the Seekers. I walk down some halls and into rooms he would most likely be in. 

(You and Shadow are talking telepathically again) 

Hey Shadow? 

Yes (y/n)?

 I thought you said rogues had white eyes. Why were his white? 

He's Zylax, leader of the rogues and the most powerful. 

Makes sense, but why is he after me? 

Probably so he can get to me but I won't let him do shit. I didn't save you that day just to have you die later on.

 Well that's good but you better not die either. 

I won't. After I had just finished talking to (y/n) I finally found Nero. He was in the weapons room writing on something. Probably doing a weapons check. "Nero." He turns around as I continue to walk up to him but he doesn't say anything. "We have a problem."

"I know. The rogues are back." he has a low voice.

"Not only are they back but so is Zylax." his face turns to worry. "He attacked a friend of mine but got away. He's probably trying to kill me by killing her. I've already sent some seekers to guard the mansion she lives in but if Zylax is back then they're not going to be of much use. I need you to get it ready."

"You can't be serious."

"I'm very serious."

"But you almost died last time!"

"That's a risk i'm gonna have to take. I won't let anyone hurt (y/n)."

"Fine." I start to walk away.

"Inform me when it's ready. This bitch needs to be taken down immediately."
