Corrupt Shadows (Sequel to 'The Demon Child')

She's Gone

"(Y/n)" I walk over to her mangled body and kneel next to her. Parts of her have been stripped to the bone. She's covered in blood, her hair looks like a five year old gave her a haircut. She looks like a zombie. You can barely even tell it's her. (The picture above is what you look like. I also drew it.) "No!" tears start to run down my face. I didn't even know I could cry. I look over at Offender and see that there's a mask on the ground next to him. So that's how she hid from me. I look at his hands and see that he's holding a piece of paper. "W-what's that?" He hands me it without saying a word. 

I knew how much you cared for this human. I've been carefully watching you two closely, learning all I could. I've been waiting so long to get revenge on you, and I've finally found the perfect way. And don't even bother trying to heal her, cause while we were eating her I inserted some black blood into her blood. It prevents anything from healing. How does it feel to lose the one you care about most? I know that feeling all too well. And don't think that this is over cause i'm still coming for you.

Bastard. I crumple the paper before it bursts into flames. 

"So there's no way of helping her?" Offender says in a low voice while looking at the ground.

"......there is."

"How?" he looks up at me.

"A process called regeneration. We've never done it before cause it's never been this bad." (regeneration is like force healing except it's only used when you're either already, or seconds away, from death)

"Then do it. And do it now cause the others are almost here." I use telekinesis to lift her body up before teleporting away with her. We're in a room that's entirely black but there's a box and small pool with glowing water. (This room is in Shadow's mansion) I slowly place her into the water so she's just floating on top. I walk over to the box and open it. Inside are different colored crystals, each with a different power. (They're all glowing by the way) I take the white one and walk back over to (y/n). I open my hand with the crystal and it flies over to (y/n)'s chest before glowing even brighter, along with the water. Her wounds slowly heal as I patiently sit by the pool observing. A few minutes pass before she is completely healed. The blood disappears and the crystal floats back to the box and it closes. I pull (y/n) out of the pool and place my hand on her cheek. 

"(Y/n)." nothing. "(Y/n)." still nothing. "(Y/n) please wake up." I say in a worried tone. She takes a deep breath and slowly opens her eyes. She looks at me and sits up. I hug her and she hesitantly hugs back. 

"Sh-shadow?" 

"I'm so glad you're ok." I pull away and look at her.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I look at her eyes. Her iris's are (e/c) but a bit grey. That's not right. "Is something wrong?" (by the way (y/n), or you, are talking bluntly. Like someone from a dull depressing world, acting as if everything is ok until I say otherwise)

'No. I was just thinking about how Splendor would react when we get back." she gives a small smile.

"I bet he'll be really happy." I help her up and a grey (type) shirt with grey pants appear on her. 

"Grey?"

"It's my favorite color. Why, do you not like it?"  Grey? That's not (y/n)'s favorite color. Something is definitely wrong.

"No it's fine. I just forgot that grey was your favorite color. I am a moron after all." Good thing i'm a good liar. Looks like I acquired that skill from (y/n). "Well let's get back and tell everyone you're ok." she nods. She is definitely NOT ok. I take her hand and teleport on the porch of the mansion. Shit it's daytime, how long were we gone? Hopefully just one night. "Wait here, i'm gonna tell everyone not to flip the fuck out when they see you." she nods and I head inside. Splendor looks like he's been crying for days while the proxies try to cheer him up. Jeff, BEN, E.J, and L.J are probably arguing due to the way they're waving their hands around, and Offender seems to be talking to Slender and Trender about something. Jeez this place has really gone to hell. I whistle loudly and everyone turns to look at me. Good, I've got everyone's attention. " Do NOT freak the fuck out ok!? Now I have something to tell you before you bombard me with questions."

"Shadow you've been gone all night! Where the fuck have you been?!" Jeff yells, obviously enraged.

"What the fuck did I just say?!!!!" well good to know that is has been only one night, but he seriously needs to fucking listen. "I need you all to listen very carefully. (Y/n) is here." They all perk up. "But something is wrong. I'm not quite sure what but until I figure out what and how to fix it I need you all to act as if everything is perfectly fine. If she seems off, which she will, don't ask her if anything is wrong. If she does something strange tell me. Alright? Just act like everything is totally fine! And don't ask questions alright?" I tell them telepathically. They look at me confused. "UNDERSTAND!?!?!?!?!?" they all shake their head violently. "Good." I walk back towards the door an open it. "You can come in now." She walks in with a blank expression.

"I'm sorry if I worried you all, but i'm alright." she smiles lightly. Alright my ass. Splendor puts on a smile but I can tell that it's fake.

"(Oh (y/n), you had us so worried about you! Please don't leave us again." Splendor hugs her and she hugs back. I wonder how hard this must be for him.

Time Pass to 10pm Cause Author Has No Idea What To Put

She's been sitting on the couch the entire damn time. She's like a fucking zombie that doesn't know what to do. Some of the pastas have already gone to bed......You're gonna join them. I walk over to her. "Hey (y/n), you should go to bed. I mean it's not like there's anything else to do." she gets up and I walk her up to her room. Once she's in I tell her goodnight and close the door. Good. Now, time to do some investiga-what the fuck? My arm is pulled and I'm dragged into a room. Once the door is closed i'm met face to face with an angry Splendor. Well shit. 

"Why is (y/n) acting like this? What did you do to her?!"

"Well when I was running through the forest last night trying to find her I found Offender kneeling on the ground. I walked closer to him and saw (y/n) laying on the ground. She looked like she got attacked by a hoard of zombies. Offender asked me if there was a way to save her and I told him that there was, a process called regeneration. But we never tried it before cause she has never been this badly injured where she is already, or seconds away from being dead. Well I did it but when she woke up her iris's were slightly grey and she said her favorite color was grey. Of course I immediately knew something was wrong but I couldn't do anything at the time because she acted as if it were normal. Plus I don't want her to find out that I know something is wrong and have her go bat shit crazy on my ass."

"Well you'd better fix her or she'll be the least of your worries."

"Yeah i'm working on it. The only thing is whe-" 

"Shadow." (the sentences in italics is you talking to Shadow telepathically))

 "Wait...(Y/n)?"

"(Y/n) isn't in here."

"Shush. (Y/n) is that the actual you?" 

"No it's the fucking Muffin Man. Yes it's me you moron!!"

 "Where the hell are you?"

"Who are you talking to?" 

"Oh right I forgot, you can't hear her. Here, read my mind and join in on the conversation." *unblocks her mind so Splendor can read her mind* "So where the hell are you?"
