Chapter 12

*Friday*

Emily's POV:

I set my alarm to wake up at 10 this morning. This meant that I had 2 hours to get ready to meet Jay. Niall was already up and had gone to the studio so I was home alone. I plugged my phone into the speakers and let my ears be filled with the genius that is Ed Sheeran. I grabbed my dressing gown and made my way to the bathroom. I filled the bath up with hot water and bubbles and I waited for it to fill while I brushed my teeth.

I washed my hair and did everything thing else then I got out and wrapped a towel around my hair. I dried my body then put the robe on. A lot more difficult when you're only got the use of one hand. I walked back to my room singing along to 'kiss me'. I put on my underwear then I sat at my makeup table. I dried my hair then put it up in a messy pony tail. I put on some light foundation, eyeliner, blusher and lipgloss then I got dressed. I wore a long sleeved belly top and a black maxi skirt, with some small black wedges. I put my phone and some money in a small bag and I was ready. I had 10 minutes to get to the cafe which was 20 minutes away walking. Crap. I ran as fast as i could without tripping,bout of the building and down the road. I managed to get there in 15 minutes and when I got there I stumbled in. l saw Jay sitting at a table so I sorted my skirt out then walked over to him. He turned round and saw me just before I got there so he stood up and hugged me. He gave me a kiss on the cheek then we sat down.

"I was beginning to think you stood me up" Jay laughed

"Sorry, I was running late" I replied

"How are you anyway?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Yourself?" I asked

"Yeah. I'm good"

"Are you ready to order?" The waiter said arriving at the table.

"I'll have the chicken salad" I said

"I'll have the fish and chips" max said. The waiter wrote it down and walked away.

"Salad really?" Max asked

"Yeah. I'm on a diet" I replied

"Why?" He asked confused

"I don't actually know" I laughed

"Well you don't need it" he winked making me blush. We sat talking for a while till the food came then ate. The date was really good and we had so much fun! Best date ever
