Amelia, James and Sky stayed up late at Percy's apartment waiting for him. James had a key to his apartment, but once it was past 12 the other two called it a night and went back to James' place, three doors down. Sky figured out how to work the TV and turned it on, trying to stay awake. Eventually she fell asleep on the couch, something about animals playing
Sky woke up in a bed with not her skinny jeans on and someone sleeping next to her. Groaning she threw out the now dried out and gross contacts she'd been wearing and looked around. She was still in Percy's apartment, it was his bed and him asleep, which wasn't hard to gather. He woke up as Sky shifted around, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
"Hmm?" he questioned.
God damn morning voice
"Morning," Sky said, trying not to sound squeaky. He rolled over and smiled.
"Every boy likes a pretty face first thing in the morning," he said, leaning up to press his lips against hers. Sky savored it for a second before getting out of the bed and walking towards the bathroom.
"Probably with the wrong girl then," Sky replied.
"I really don't think I am." Sky changed and washed her face, opening the door to a sight she'd wanted to see for years. Percy was kicking the sheets off his legs, in nothing but boxers. Sky didn't linger on it for too long, remembering that he was her boyfriend now. He got up, running a hand through his tangled hair, and walking over to her. Sky smiled and leaned up to kiss him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"You're cute," he smirked, "What's the plan for today?"
"I want to go to the zoo," Sky said, running her hands down his shoulders and arms.
"The zoo? It's like zero degrees outside," he said.
"But their still open," Sky replied, brushing her hair out of her face and walking to the kitchen.
"Fine, but only cause you're cute," he replied. Sky looked around in his cabinets and found that he had literally nothing in his house to eat.
"Percy, what the hell do you eat in the morning?" Sky asked, going back to the bedroom. He was pulling on a t-shirt over jeans.
"I usually just steal stuff from James. He wakes up early and makes bacon," he said, rummaging around for a sweatshirt. Sky rolled her eyes and he walked into the kitchen. While Sky laced up her combat boots he pressed a button on his intercom labeled, JK.
"Juliet, Alpha, Mike, Echo, Sierra. Goood morning!"
"Morning, Calix."
"How was your night?"
"Fantastic, as always," James replied. Sky could hear Amelia in the background and Percy scoffed.
"We're going to the zoo later," he said, waiting for a reply.
"We'll be there," James commented. There was some talking on the other end of the line and then it cut out.
"I'm going to make a bet before go over there," Sky said.
"Hmm?"
"I bet you Amelia's either wearing one of James' t-shirts that are too big for her or his button down, the one he was wearing yesterday."
"Amelia's too classy for that," he said, shaking her outstretched hand. Sky smirked, knowing Amelia way better than anyone else.
"Five bucks and a kiss," she said.
"Well I hope you don't mind if I take that kiss a little early," he smirked, pressing his lips to hers. Sky pushed him back and raised an eyebrow.
"Don't forget I've known her for twelve years," Sky said, pulling on her grey pea-coat and walking out of the apartment.
