Chapter 26

I watched as Jo and Dean stuffed their faces and then I heard it, my daughter was starting to cry. Getting up I walked up to the bedroom and smiled as she noticed me and she stopped crying, watching as she raised her arms towards me, walking towards the cot I bent down picking my daughter up and placing her on my hip, smiling as she started babbling away I turned to her and smiled, "we have to be quite baby, Sammy is sleeping still" I said to her.

She looked up and giggled, shaking my head I walked over to the box where we put all of her new clothing and grabbed a clean onesie with a bunny on it and I grabbed a little cardigan for her as well, grabbing a different nappy and walking over to the changing table I placed my daughter down and went to dressing her in her new clothes. Grabbing the dummy clip and clipping it to her I clipped the dummy on the end and smiled as she was giving it a weird look, "see when you don't want to suck it you can let it fall out of your mouth and instead of it dropping on the floor it will hang on to you" I explained to her.

Ally smiled and I picked Ally up and placing her on my hip and walking over to the bed to see that Sammy was awake and looking up at me, walking over to the playpen we had in the room I placed ally down on the floor inside and poured some toys out for her, "be a good girl and play nicely, while I get your brother dressed" I asked.

Ally babbled and crawled over to the blocked and started to suck on one of them, grabbing hold of Sammy and swinging him on to my hip I walked over to the box with Sammy's Sam on and grabbed out a blue vest top with some soft jeans and some shoes and socks and went to getting him changed, knowing that I wanted to keep him in the onesie but I knew that Sammy would not like that. So getting him changed and clipping another dummy strap to his outfit and clipped the dummy to it, "right I believe that Sammy and Ally are hungry" I asked.

Sammy smiled and nodded, putting him on my hip I walked over to Ally and picked her up placing her on the other side and walking down stairs to see Ellen cleaning up Dean and Jo, "john, let me take Ally" Ellen said lifting Dean and Jo out of the highchairs and placing them on the floor, "you can play but stay in mine, daddy's or bobby sight okay" Ellen said to them.

They nodded and ran into the front room playing, Ellen walked over and lifted ally from me and placed her down in her highchair and strapped her in, smiling as she started banging away I lifted Sammy into the highchair and watched as Ellen placed a bowl in front of him and smiled as Sammy went to feeding himself. I grabbed the bowl on the side and noticed that it was puree pears and I grabbed a spoon as I was walking over to Ally and grabbed a chair, "come on then princess, I believe that you are hungry" I said and put a spoon full of it into her mouth and smiled as she was slowly eating it and placing her hands in her mouth as well.

I chuckled and realised something, "tell you one thing, my daughter and pears she does the same thing as an adult as she does a baby. Her hands in her mouth while she is eating it" I said smirking at my daughter.

Ally looked up to me and smiled, "da" she said.

I smiled, "yeah baby Da" I said.

I was a bit upset she was younger and not as old as she was when we first started this but I knew that this was something that she needed, watching as she pulled herself forward and grabbed hold of the bowl, "no princess, daddy needs you to stay clean" I said pulling her hand off the bowl and carried on feeding her.

She finished the bowl and I grabbed a wet wipe cleaning her off and handing her a bottle of water, "there you go princess" I said and got up walking to the sink and cleaning off the bowl and putting it into the box with all the other stuff.

"Johnny, Rufus, Josh and Jim are here to help get the boxes loaded and then unloaded in the houses" bobby said.

I turned around and nodded, "okay, but we cannot take the impala she is going to have to stay here, otherwise people are going to be confused, I have been able to get a people carrier, so I can fit the 3 car seats and Ally's car seat in the car and we can be in the front" I said looking to them.

I heard Dean Laugh and I turned around to see that he was looking at me and giggling, "Is there something funny little man" I asked.

Dean giggled and ran over to me, "no daddy" he said and I couldn't help the paleness come to me.

"Dean why don't you go and play with Jo and I will call you when we are ready to leave" Ellen said.

Dean nodded and I sat down on the chair and Ellen bent down in front of me, "John" Ellen said to me.

I looked up and wiped my eyes, "sorry, just memories I thought I got rid of" I said.

Ellen nodded and sat next to me, "Do you want to speak about it" Ellen asked me.

I looked up and took a deep breath, "I came home late that night, Mary and I had been fighting and she told me to leave, I couldn't leave the kids they were everything to me. I walked in the house and noticed that the living room was a mess, god Mary could be so OCD about the living room, Dean would leave his army men out and she hated them things, she would always stand on them" I said chuckling. "I walked up the stairs and that was when I heard Mary speaking to Dean telling him to say goodnight to his brother and sister, I walked down the hall into the nursery and leant against the door, Mary was the most beautiful person she was wearing the white silk nighty that I brought her, I knew that she wasn't mad at me, I turned to dean and smiled asking if the twins were ready to toss around a football and he ran over to me and said 'no daddy' chuckling as he did. I picked dean up and turned to Mary who smiled at me and we walked out of the room with dean in my arms. We put dean to bed and I apologised to her but there was the look in her eyes saying that I was an ass and that she was going to bed. I remember walking down stairs and cleaning up for her and that I sat down on the sofa and must have fallen asleep, because the next thing I remember is waking up to my wife screaming and no one there" I said looking up with tears in my eye.

Ellen smiled and ran her hand over my cheek and made me look at her, "Johnny, please remember something, she loves you and so do I. now I know that I'm not her but I promise that I will be loving to you" Ellen said to me.

I nodded and smiled and that was when I noticed that Sam, ally and Dean were very quiet, turning around I noticed that dean was crying and looking to me, "dean come her baby" I said and watched as he ran over to me.

I picked him up and pulled the twins highchairs towards me, "I promise that nothing bad is going to happen and I promise that daddy is okay" I said to them.

Ally nodded and I turned to her and smiled, "right come on you three I believe we have a house to move into" I said getting up and placing dean down on the floor and picking Ally up.
