chapter three

(James' pov)

I felt nervous waiting for my turn to see Katelyn. I was yet excited. I could hear her beautiful voice from the other side of the wall as she talked to Aleks & Seamus. She didn't sound the same but she's recovering & she still sounds like an angel. After a few minutes, a nurse walks in her room as I notice Aleks & Seamus exiting the room.

"Once the nurse is done you can go in." Seamus says as he sits down to my nod in response. Just a couple seconds later, the nurse leaves as Jordan gets up. This is it. I get to see my true love again. I rise from my seat as I smile, Jordan smiling as he takes the lead & we make our way into the room.

(Katelyn's pov)

My vision becomes more clear and I recognize the two gentlemen entering the room. James & Jordan. I smile.

"I'll give you two some time alone, afterwords, were going out to eat. Glad your back Katie!" Jordan speaks with a smile as he leaves.

I see James staring with a huge smile on his face, I notice a small tear going down his cheek. No..I get up with all my strength and fall onto James.

"James...don't cry please...why are you crying?" I ask as I lose breath from standing up.

"You are just the most beautiful person I've ever seen..and I am just stunned by your beauty." He answers in a quiet voice as he held me. "Now please, sit down. I don't want my sweetheart to get to tired." He begs.

I do as I was told and lay back down. I say or do nothing but stare. A tear forming in the corner of my eye, falling down my cold, pale cheek. James sets the flowers & teddy bears down on the end of the bed as he sits with me. He grabs my cheek gently and wipes me tear away.

"Why are you crying beautiful?.." I can hear a small whimper in the way he said his words.

Another tear falls as I look down, placing my hand on top of his hand still on my cheek. "Nobody..I mean nobody, has ever called me beautiful. After seeing me with no make up on & sick. Once I heard you say it, I knew you meant it..." I cry once more and James pulls me in for a sweet, soft kiss. "I always mean it if I say it. I love you Katelyn & I mean it." He answers. After his words I pull him in for a hug. I missed him way to much, he means so much to mean. I just pray for nothing to happen to us.

James greeted me with the flowers and teddy bear, telling me how much he missed me & how he kept track with my fans & keeping me updated. He tells me cute story's & tells me about all the "get better soon!" gifts I got from my fans and some from the creature hub fan base. I can't tell you how many times I've thanked him for everything, & how appreciated I am. After a bit, the guys gathered around and help pack up my stuff including my books & clothes I had in my hospital room. Jordan and Austin helped me into the wheelchair as Austin pushed me around. Sly, Austin, & Jordan where in one car and James, Aleks, Seamus, & I were in the other. We followed Jordan on the road to go out to eat, we showed up at the closest Stake N' Shake and parked.

After lunch, we all headed back to the creature house. Everyone helped out to get my stuff and help me get my way to the front door. After getting inside, I got out my wheelchair and tried going upstairs.

"Katelyn stop!" Austin yelled at me as he ran to me.

"What?" I question.

"You can't go upstairs by yourself, you could hurt yourself or get too tired." He explains.

"I can take care if myself." I snapped as I saw James walked into our argument & stop.

"I can help her." James looks at Austin.
