chapter five

Things went back to normal. Everything was back on track and I was working again, finally. I was trying to finish editing my latest video with me playing GTA 5 with Jordan, Aleks, Kevin, & James. I was really stressing out since it's been 5 hours of us playing and I've spent 2 hours trying to edit. You probably don't know Kevin, but he's a friend of Aleks, I always consider him as a creature even though he wasn't, yet. I look at my phone noticing it was 6 a.m. Great. I had to be up at 8 for a meeting with the guys. I shut my laptop off and crawl in bed, falling asleep faster then I thought.

I woke up from my alarm going off on my phone, 7:00. Yay for one hour of sleep. I took a quick shower to wake me up a bit and did my hair along with my normal makeup. I didn't feel like doing my hair so a simple messy bun would work. I put on a nice white blouses, with blue jean shorts added with my white vans. I look at the time, 7:40. Leaving my room I head down to the coffee shop Jordan told us to meet at.

I was too tired to drive so I called James and put him on speaker so I'll have someone to talk to while I drive.

"Hello?.." James groaned as I giggled a bit.

"Tried much?" I laughed.

"Yeah..I stayed up till 3."

"We'll I stayed up till 6.."

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" He yelled in shock.

"I was editing, that's why I called you because I didn't want to fall asleep while I drive." I snapped back.

"Wow, after this bullshit meeting your coming over to my place."

"Okay.." I smiled at the thought. I stayed at the creature house with Sly, Dan, & Seamus. James had his own place but he'd stay at the creatures house sometimes.

"Hey we'll I'm here so I'll see you later!"

"Okay bye loser!"

"Bye dork!"

I hung up the phone and turned on my radio and played the song "Burning House". I sang along the lyrics to keep my eyes focused on the road. After a few minutes I found myself parked next to James' car, in front of the coffee shop. I smiled as I got out of my car excited to see his smile and hear the sweet laugh. Walking into the coffee place, I found James & Jordan sitting at a table.

"Hey guys!" I say walking up to them.

"Oh hey babe." James got up and kissed my cheek.

"Hey Katie! Did you finish the report & other papers for the meeting?" Jordan asked as he pulled a chair out for me.

"Yes I did." I grabbed the two folders in my bag, setting them on the table as I sat down.

"Here, since you had one hour of sleep." James handed me some coffee as I smiled.

"Thank you."

After a few minutes later, Sly, Aleks, & Seamus arrived. We all shared our plans for the day and talked as we waited for everyone else show up. Dan & Kevin showed up and we finally started our meeting.

"Katelyn, you can start us off." Jordan nodded to me as I opened the folders and read off the papers.

"So, Jordan and I have been talking about our situation with the Creature House. We've been thinking about an upgrade and Jordan suggested that we'd move into a office building. We would all almost have our own offices but a few will have to share. It would also be cheaper then the house." I closed the folder up and looked at Jordan.

"So, we wanted to discuss the people that will share an office and if we agree with this upgrade." Jordan fills in the silence as I began to speak again.
