He's Up To Something.

Christine's POV

I've had to stay out of sight for the past few days. Samantha can be put at risk if he knows of her. Or my husband. It's better to keep them safe.

Why? Because Niklaus is back in mystic falls.

I'm hiding because he threatened to have her hostage. The guy is completely insane, he's an arrogant bastard.

I've been looking out for them without being spotted. I was currently at Mystic Grill.

I was dressed in a light blue blouse and a pair of washed jeans, no makeup and my hair hidden under neat my wig.

Low key.

She can't see me.

Not yet.

I had told the others about Klaus being back in town, and in minutes, they came to the Grill, they were seated at a table away from mine.

"How do you know my mom?"Sam asks, completely confused.

"I'm Niklaus Mikealson, I know everything." his cocky smirk pisses me off. He knows I'm here.

Klaus don't do this, I mind-messaged. Yes, vampires can communicate with our minds, thoughts.

He glanced at me for a millisecond then back to Samantha.

"Y- you're that guy." she said as though she just remember something.

"The one and only." he laugh, Samantha backs up.

"Where is my mother, what have you done to her?" she asks as anger consumed her.

Somehow, she found out a lot of things about the vampire population. No human should know of our existant.

He glanced at his phone. Must be something important, because he got up and paid for his drink.

"Your mother is fine, I'd love to see you again, sweetheart" he says it with a parting wink.

Did he just flirt with my daughter?

Meet me at my place, we have a lot to discuss. He said through our mind-link.

I glanced at Sam and saw she was talking to a very charming yet scary Stefan Salvatore.

I got up and went to their table. They smiled.

"What the hell was that?" Aurora asked, sipping her red wine.

Why not blood?

In case you haven't noticed, were in public, we don't exist to other humans.

"He's manipulating her and he wants me to go to his place." I said sitting next to Damon.

"Okay, are you going to his place or not, we all know how Klaus gets." Stephan says, standing to his feet.

He's dangerous and a total jerk, no doubt about it. If it weren't for my child, I would have stayed but I told my friends about what he threatened me about.

"I'm going, I'll call you if anything"I said, then exited the Grill.

I'm on my way, I messaged him.

He replies with an 'okay'. I knew he was up to something.

I needed to protect my family and friends, even if it costs me my own life

I'll do anything for them.
