I groaned as I rolled over. I glanced up at the clock and slammed my fist on the pillow. The clock read 4:38am. Shiz, I thought. Why can't I fall asleep? Giving up on the hope to fall back asleep, I got up and started to get ready. I walked over to my closet, as I selected a random outfit. I pulled my shirt over my head and grabbed a pair of dark wash shorts. I walked over to my desk and brushed my white hair. Yes, white hair. I'm an albino. I finished brushing my hair and threw my brush on my bed, intending to bring it to school. I glanced down at my makeup before I grabbed my eyeliner. I applied a thin line under my eyes. Then I grabbed my mascara and swiped it over my eyelashes. Satisfied with my appearance, I sat down on my bed and grabbed a book. I started to read it and got lost in the pages.

"Casey Albino." Troy teased. Troy was my young brother by a year.

"What?" I hissed.

"Dad made pancakes, and if you don't go get yours I'm eating them." He said as he darted from the room. I got up and chased him down the stairs. I got to the bottom of the stairs and jumped on him, as he fell hard to the ground.

"Stay away from my food." I growled as I walked over to the bar and sat down, as I dug into my pancakes.

"Keep it down you two! Your mothers sleeping." My dad scolded us. Dad was a guy in his mid-30's. He had jet black hair and a little whiskers showing at the bottom of his chin. Troy and I just laughed. "Seriously, she already exhausted." I laughed more and ate the food sitting in front of me. My mom was a brunette in her late 20's. She was having a set of twins in about a month, so she was extremely nervous. Troy said three kids were bad enough, but I didn't think we were that bad.

"Bye guys." My older brother Zach said as he walked out the door.

"Bye loser." Troy said through a mouthful of food.

"Shut up and eat your food." I said as I got up and put my plate in the dishwasher. I walked by the kitchen table when I saw something that caught my eye. I picked up the newspaper and read the article. "What is it Dad?" I asked him, as I held up the paper.

"I don't know Casey. I wish I did." He said, as he continued to wash the pans from the pancakes.

"A bunch of freak attacks on humans? Killing them? It has to be something big."

"No, it could just be a small animal like a bobcat,"

"Dad! They found limbs ripped off of the people! A bobcat can't do that!"

"Well stay close to home and no going in the woods," He said in a strict tone. He looked at the clock and pointed towards the door. "Go catch the bus." I groaned as I ran upstairs to brush my teeth. After I did that I ran to my room, grabbing my backpack, phone and iPod. I jogged by my brothers room. "Lets go!" I said. I ran down the stairs and out the door. I saw the bus coming and screamed for my brother. Shortly after he came running out, a shoe in hand. I laughed at him as the bus stopped. I walked across the road and sat down with Kelsey.

"Sup bro?" She asked me.

I groaned. "Mondays sucks."

"Agreed." She said as she laughed. I pulled out my iPod and gave her a earbud. I scrolled through my songs, as I selected a random song. The familiar tune of Maron 5 filled my one ear. The bus jerked forward and I looked up. The bus had stopped at a new house. I looked out the window, hoping to see the person getting on the bus. But I couldn't see them. I looked at the front of the bus and gasped. The boy that got on the bus took my breath away. He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was tall. He looked my way, but I quickly darted my eyes away. I looked at Kelsey and she held back a laugh. I felt my phone buzz and looked down.
