Chapter 5: Fusions and Jasper

I opened my eyes, where was I? I was just warping back to the temple and then I blacked out! My eyes started to focus a bit more, I saw Rose, Sapphire, Amethyst, Pearl and some other gems attached to the wall. I was as well, cuffs were around my arms and legs tightly. At least Rose was back, but still. All of them were passed out, " GUYS! WAKE UP!!! " I yelled.

" Quiet, you! " a gem said. Uh oh, it was her. The big orange tough gem from the war... The gems woke up, " W-where are we?! " Pearl said. " Welcome to Kindergarden Lab " the buff gem laughed. " I am Jasper, Yellow Diamond's assistant " I was scared.

The door closed, and Jasper uncuffed two gems. One brown and one yellow, " Now, FUSE! " she yelled at the gems. What does she mean " fuse "? The gems started to dance and then glow, Rose was terrified and tried to cover me and Amethyst's eyes. Then the two gems mixed together! And then they weren't there anymore, it was a much taller gem.

" Good Work, Sinhalite " Jasper smirked. She walked over to the fusion and grabbed her stabilizer. Oh my... The fusion stepped back and them BAM! They got poofed! Then, Jasper put her foot over the new gem and everyone screamed. She picked up two shards and stitched them together, and there was a silence. " AGH NOTHING! " she said.

" Hm... You two! Come here! " she said pointing at me and Sapphire. We got uncuffed and started to run," PERIDOT! " she yelled. A very short gem ran to us, she had sticks for fingers and froze us. She moved us to Jasper, " FUSE OR ILL BURY YOU INTO THE GROUND! JUST LIKE I WILL WITH ROSE! " she yelled. We had no choice, we started to dance and I saw Sapphire crying... But from ONE EYE!

Our gems started to glow, this was the end. And Amethyst was only 3000 years old! All of the Crystal Gems cried and screamed at the top of their lungs, then we fused together. " Okay, Garnet. Time to finish this, " she walked over to us. We were going to die, I knew we were. I didn't move but then Sapphire punched her with my METAL gauntlet.

" She'll be out for just a second! GO! " we said uncuffing all the gems. We all ran, we all warped on the warp pad together. One of the homeworld gems said : " Thank you, but don't ever mention that this ever happened. Yellow Diamond will hunt you down if you do! " she said. We nodded and they flew away.

We all felt relieved, and then realized.
