I walked back to the temple and noticed Pearl sitting with Amethyst. " So, how do you feel here. Do you feel safe? " Pearl asked Amethyst sucking on her thumb. " Mmhm! " she said nodding. I tiptoed behind the temple but able to see what they're doing. " Where did Fire and Ice go? What's with the tall cube haired girl? " Amethyst asked looking at Pearl. " Fire and Ice? Oh! Sapphire and Ruby. That is them, they fused into Garnet. " Pearl explained.
They whispered with eachother and I couldn't hear what they were saying. Rose warped back to the temple. That's where I swooped in. " I've decided! " I yelled. Everyone looked at me, " I WANNA STAY GARNET! " I yelled. They was a short silence but I stayed confident. Rose wandered over to me and rubbed my cheeks. " Garnet, I'm so proud of you! If this ever happens to someone else remember these words well... You are not two people, and you are not one person. You, are an experience. Make sure you're a good experience. " She said softly. Amethyst was asleep, and Pearl was smiling.
I guess everything worked out. I don't care of how people think of me. But I'm happy that people or gems don't judge me if who I am, here on Earth. Even though the person who inspired me, the person who gave me those words had left Earth. She's always with us, with me.
Go ahead, call me a Freak. But I can't be one of I want to. Be yourself.
