-Lucy's POV-
I've killed 232 walkers in one month time. Yeah, I'm alive, barely. Ran out of food a few days ago, ON my last bottle of water. I need to re-stock.
Recently, I've disguised myself as a man. Stuffed my hair in a cowboy hat, wore a trench coat over my clothes, and some gloves. Just in case I run into people. My face is covered in muck too, so no way they'll think I'm a girl.
I escaped the city, now I'm in the woods, hunting for something to eat. So far, nothin'. I looked around and then heard a stick breaking. I hid myself, it seemed to be nothing. I walked out and spotted a squirrel. I sighed in relief and shot an arrow. Another arrow hit the other side of it. Someone WAS here. I need that squirrel and arrow though.
As I walked up to it, a man appeared holding a crossbow. We both immediately pointed our weapons at each other. Then a man walked up behind him. He has dark, shaggy hair and holding a gun in his hand.
"What are ya'?!" The one with a crossbow demanded I didn't respond. "Answer!" He said as I put my bow down as I saw he has a gun also.
"Sir, you're in our camp area. Come with us." The dark haired one said. I shook my head as I grabbed my arrow from the squirrel.
"Wasn't a question." The guy with the crossbow said. I glared at him and shook my head again. Then the dark haired man grabbed my bow and held my arms behind me.
"You could be a threat to the group, young man." He said as I was led back to their camp. He threw me down on the ground as their people surrounded me. There were children...
"He was roaming our woods." One said. I listened to their conversation. As it ended, they looked back at me. Oh great.
-Daryl's POV-
Great, just another guy to the group. He observed us carefully, seeming to try and figure something out. Damnit! What was he thinking?!
-Lucy's POV-
"You gonna speak?" The one named Shane asked. I shook my head. Not as long as I was seen as a guy. "Fine, I'll talk. We wanna trust ya. But you gotta listen, do as we say. We don't need to get violent." That's when an argument broke out. he apparently made the last part up on his own. They were giving me a headache. I had enough.
I stood up.
"QUIET!!" I yelled in a harsh, low voice. They all stopped and looked over at me. These people were harmless to me, I could tell. Mine as well show them the truth. I took off my gloves and threw them on the ground. "I'm gonna trust y'all. Consider yourselves lucky." I said taking off my trench coat, and finally my hat, letting my hair fall. There was silence for a bit.
"You're a girl?!?!" Shane said surprised. I nodded in amusement.
-Daryl's POV-
.......
WHAT THE HELL!!
How did I NOT see that?! Damnit! Either way, she's probably some peddy, helpless, maiden in distress. God damn crossdresser.
She wore a gray, sleeveless shirt, a denim vest, dark jeggings (don't ask how he knows what those are), and cowboy boots. Well she's got style...but that don't mean nothin'! Everyone stared confused. Then she sighed.
"My name's Lucy." She said and then Shane introduced everyone.
"We gotta ask ya some questions Lucy." Shane said walking up to her. "Have you ever been in a group?"
"No. I've been fine on my own until recently." Lucy said.
"Where's your family?" Shane asked.
"I don't know. We...got separated." Lucy said. Lies, I can tell. Shane nodded.
"We'll ask the rest of the questions when the other get back. I think we can trust you." Shane said hander her the bow. She grabbed it and nodded. I saw Dale studying her carefully.
"When was the last time you cleaned that face?" Carol mocked, throwing her a rag. Lucy wipe her face clean and threw the rag back. She's very...NO! Just some weak girl!
"When was the last time you slept?" Dale asked seeing her dark circles.
"5 days ago." She responded, not caring. Dale raised an eyebrow.
"And ate?" He added.
"2 days ago. But I'm not y'all's food. Don't bout' me." She said shaking her head. Lucy read their minds.
"Too bad. You're eating! We have dinner ready." Lori said as we all grabbed some food and sat around the fire.

Now everyone was just talking. Lucy didn't say a word, just listening, her eyes going in every direction.
