It was Saturday. I was at Nathan's house with North and we were curled up on the couch watching Tim Burton's adaption of Alice in Wonderland. Every once in a while I would feel small gestures from North, like his hand would tighten slightly were it was placed between the couch and my ribs, or a kiss on the back of my head.
So apparently North had requested some time off to hang out with me since he had been away for a week and a half on an assignment. He said he didn't feel like sharing me and asked if I was opposed to staying in. I honestly had no complaints as long as I got some time with him.

"North, don't you think it would be cool to be able to visit Wonderland? The movie doesn't even do justice, when Lewis Carroll wrote the books his description could make anyone have such a vivid idea of it. I think it would be so cool!" I said to him. I heard him grunt.

"Except that some bitch of a queen is trying to remove your head to use as a floaty in her moat." He said.

Well... He wasn't wrong.

The movie ended after Alice killed the Jaberwacky, returned home and picked up her father's business. North was running circles on my ribs where his thumb was sitting. I snuggled backwards into him. His thumb stilled for a moment before he began again. We just sat there listening to the song at the ending credits. I had been sitting like this for over and hour, so I stretched out my body and then curled back up to North, but I put my legs over his.

"Baby, quit squirming, you're gonna fall off the couch." North said.

Seriously? He was worried about me having a 50% chance of rolling off the couch, falling 1 foot and landing on the carpet? I grinned thinking to myself. I started to pretend like I was getting comfortable. Then I would stop, wait a minute or two, and start again.

After doing this for about 15 minutes I heard North sigh. With a grunt North flipped me around so I was facing him on the couch and he wrapped his arms around me and connected them behind me.

"Baby, I said quit fucking squirming." He said giving me a look. I giggled. He smiled, knowing what I was doing. "You're gonna be the end of me Sang Baby."

He sat there and just looked at me. What? Was there something on my face? I moved to go wipe my face, but the second I started to move North tightened his grip.

"North, is there something on my face?" He raised his eyebrow. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

He smiled down at me and his gaze got more intense and I saw his eyes darken. North leaned into me and kissed me. I decided to try moving my hand again and this time he let me. I brought my hands up and placed one on his cheek and the other on his shoulder. Once I started returning his kiss it turned more urgent. Like us kissing was how we got oxygen from each other.

North flipped us, ending up leaning over me, putting his weight on his elbows and me beneath him with my arms now curled around his shoulders.

A sound came from the front door. "Sugar!" I heard a voice call. Norths and mines kiss broke and we sat up on the couch in time to see Luke walking into the room.

"Hey baby brother, sweetheart." He said nodding to me and grinning at North. "I needed to grab something from here before me and Gabriel go around and do everyone's closet."

This would have been believable except that during the time North and I had been together today this had happened 4 times. Nathan coming to get a sweatshirt, Sean thinking he left his hospital ID here, Silas needing to borrow a vehicle from North, and now Luke having to grab an unspecified object.

I heard North groan and glared at his Brother.

"Baby, go get dressed. Make sure to wear pants." He told me, getting up and walking to the kitchen.
