I arrived in the Holmes Chapel airport, after a 13 hour flight all i wanted to do was stretch my legs and sleep, back in California it is 1:00am but here, it is 9:00am, God this jet lag is going to be torturous. I exited the plane and went to the baggage claim and grabbed my bags and guitar, i silently thanked the Lord that no one had stolen my baby. I exited the airport to find the taxis, once i finally got a taxi i put my bags in the trunk and climbed in the back seat.

"Where to love?" The taxi driver asked me, I was kind of caught off guard when he called my love, back in California that was foreign but I quickly remembered I was now in England.

"Bring me to the nearest bed and breakfast in the area please." I replied. With that, he was off.

He pulled into a friendly looking place and dropped me off, I paid him and he set my bags down near the door and then left. I looked around, everything seemed to be friendly and happy near here, it seemed like a town where everyone would no each other, I look around and see people coming outside, grabbing the morning paper but yelling across the streets to say good morning to a neighbour, the sight makes me smile.

I enter the building and walk up the the front desk. I am greeted by a middle aged woman with a warm smile.

"Hello and welcome to Holmes Chapel Bed N' Breakfast, Here to book a room?" She asks me.

"Yes please, I'll be here for a while until I can find a flat, is that okay?"

"Of course dear, By your accent, you're probably not from around here are you?"

"Oh, no i'm from California, here to start over I guess!"

"Oh brilliant! Stay here as long as you please, here come with me love."

I follow the nice lady to a room just down the hall, the wallpaper in the hallway is floral, all different colors, it makes me feel warm inside. She arrived at my room near the end.

"Here you go sweetheart." She says well handing me the key.

She walks back down the hall and i unlock my room, I am greeted by the smell of Lavender and a hint of Vanilla, it smells delicious, I close the door behind me and set my bags on the floor. There is a Queen sized bed in the middle of the room with a chestnut brown bedside table next to it. A medium sized T.V across from the bed and a bathroom beside the T.V. The room is nice and cozy. and instantly I feel this welcoming feeling. I throw my bag on my bed and pull out a more appropriate outfit for walking around town. Since it's June the weather here is sunny and warm, definitely not as warm as back in California, but i was prepared for that. I grab a pear of high-waisted floral shorts and match it was a baggy Coral tank top, that I tuck in the shorts. I slip on some Coral Flats and leave my hair as it is. I grab my purse and leave my room, locking it as i go.

As I walk out of the Bed and Breakfast I am greeted by the warm smell of fresh bread and pasterys. I decide to follow the smell and it leads to a Bakery called W Mandeville.
