I woke up the the sound of my daily alarm, which kind of sounded like a fire alarm because it was so freakin loud that i jumped out of bed and slammed the snooze button. It was exactly 9:00am which meant that I had about 1 hour to get everything ready before I left for the airport. I jumped into the shower and scrubbed my body, washed my long brown hair and cleansed my face. Once I was done in the shower i dried myself off and brushed my teeth, Since the flight to Holmes Chapel was about 13 hours I tried to wear something as comfortable as it gets, so i threw on some black leggings and a really comfy Grey knitted sweater with m grey toms. I decided to not do anything fancy with my hair so i let it air dry, forming its long waves. I stuck to light makeup which was mascara and eye liner with a bit of blush so i didn't look like the walking dead..

One i was done getting ready it was 9:30 so I brought all of my bags downstairs and set them by the door. I went back upstairs and stood in my door frame, i studied the creme walls, the ceiling fan which was always a bit crooked, I laughed as a memory of my complaining to my mother about the fan and how it looked "Odd" But she just laughed, her laugh used to be so full of life and joy.. That was until the incident.. I quickly shook that thought from my head and began to wonder down the hall to my parents room, I quietly peered in to find that they were both gone, probably to work. It was a Thursday and all.

I decided to write a note, it read

*Hey Mom and Dad, when you read this I don't really think you guys would have noticed that i'm gone, but anyways i've decided to take my life into my own hands and take a risk and move out on my own. I've saved up money from working at the theatres and side babysitting jobs, and i also have the university fund that you guys saved up for me. I think I'll be able to make it. I want you guys to know that I love you, and even though I'm a disappointment to you, you are still my parents. well anyways, i must be on my way, I have my cell phone and you can contact me if you want.

I love you. Take care,

Xoxo Love always, Delilah.

I felt the tears form at the brim of my eyes but I wouldn't let them pass. This was something i needed to do, and even though i will miss them, they will be better off without me.

I grabbed my purse and printed off my ticket. I called a cab and walked out the door with my bags and guitar, locking it as i left. The cab picked me up and the man put my bags in the trunk,

"Where to miss?" He questioned me.

"The international Airport please" I answered him, and with that, he was off.

*****************************************************************

We arrived at the airport and he unloaded the cab, i grabbed my bags and guitar and was off to the check in.

One I was all checked in I made my way to my gate and waited for them to call my flight.

'Flight 113 to Holmes Chapel boarding' The announcer said. With that I made my way to the plane boarding area and entered the plane.

I took my seat and turned on my music , only to be swept away from reality with the sweet sound of Ed Sheeran, who in my eyes was the Ginger Jesus. This was my new beginning, and I was going to embrace the chance to start over, and forget about my terrible past.

This was going to be different.
