Chapter 35- OHMYGOD!

Adeel's POV:

"Khadija, wake up, we are here" I said as I tried waking Khadija up after our long flight.

She woke up and rubbed her eyes "Where are we?" she asked and then peeked out of the window and she gasped

"Switzerland, Zurich?" she asked surprised and I nodded

"OhMYGOD, this cannot be happening, my dream place! OHMYGOD, OHMYGOD!" she said and stood up happily and quickly wore her abaya, niqab and gloves, as the henna was still there.

"Wait Adeel" she called out

"Yes?" I turned around

"Before my henna goes away" she said

"It won't. The colour is still fresh " I said and she looked at it happily

"I know, it's so amazing but before it goes away, can you find your initial in it?" she asked

"What?" I asked her disbelievingly

"I know, I know, it's a game and I wouldn't never do that but thanks to the crazy bunch of friends, they did it and they had asked me to ask you, so now you have to" she said in one breathe and I nodded

I looked at her left hand and then right hand and in the first glimpse I found it, it was on her palm near her pinky finger and a little above her wrist and was hidden by the design, it was so small.

"There it is" I said and pointed it out and she looked at it and nodded

"Wow" she exclaimed "That was fast"

"I am smart, you know?" I said and she rolled her eyes

"But what did this game mean, I mean...?" I trailed off

She chuckled and replied "Even I don't know, those girls are crazy"

We finally got down my plane and then headed to the hotel

"Khadija we have only days here and tomorrow morning we have to go the Alps and then we will return by evening and then spend the night here and then head to our next destination the 3rd day" I informed and she nodded

Khadija's POV:

I felt so relaxed after we had arrived in our hotel. I was already so tired by the journey so we decided to rest for one hour , pray Dhuhr and then head to places. I called up parents plus my in-laws and informed them about Zurich and after talking to them, I changed into black yoga pants and a green top that was sleeveless, put my abaya and hijab, niqab etc and then we got ready to go out.

We visited Lake Zurich, Limmat River, and Museum of Art , Zurich is a wonderful place, the rivers were so peaceful, flowing at a steady pace and taking the stones along with them, me and Adeel had spent time by the river, and enjoyed the peace there. The Museum was very astounding and it had such great and unique pieces of Art and I was loving all these places.

By the time we had finished with these places, my legs felt numb by all the walking, so we had our dinner and then we went for shopping.

Adeel as usual had nagged me and forced me to buy stuff, even though we had shopped from Orkney but he insisted and then I nagged him to buy suit for himself and he did buy some shirts, with pictures of Zurich and one suit for himself.

I bought gifts for everyone in my family, which includes both of my families; I had bought personal gifts as well as souvenirs for everyone and a special gift for Maryam for her love of make-up.

So after a lot of shopping, we headed back to our hotel and prayed Isha and then we slept straight away.
