Tasha's pov

"I don't know why I keep doing this." I told Shontae over the phone

"Because you love him that's why." She said

"But I feel like he don't love me, like he is only using me." I said truthfully

"I don't think Angelo is like that baby girl." She sighed

"I do not know what to think anymore to be honest." I said as I heard the front door open and close

"Look just be honest with him and tell him how you feel." She said as Devin jr. started to cry

"I guess you right. Tell my nephew I miss him." I said

"Alright bye baby."

"Bye."

I turn and looked at D'Angelo with hurt in my eyes. He hasn't been home since yesterday afternoon.

"Hey baby." He said leaning into kiss me

I turned my face so he got my cheek.

"What's up with you?" He asked

"Where were you?" I asked

"I was out with some friends." He said

"Okay cool well I am going to go out with some friends until tomorrow night." I said walking past him and out to the car

"Tasha wait!" He said grabbing my wrist

"Look I don't care anymore it is obvious that you do not feel like being honest with me right now." I said as if it was nothing

"Tasha I can can explain." He said

"Well go ahead." He said

"I-i.." Was all he could get out before he let out a big sigh

I shook my head and climbed in my car and started driving to God knows where. Why do I always get the stupid ones? But a part of me feels like I was jumping to conclusions to fast. I should have let him speak. I love him with all my heart, but I just don't know.

I turned my car around and went right back to him. I walked into the dark house looking for him. I heard the noise from the weight room and knew it was from him. I open the door to see him crying on the bench. I tip toed behind him and sat right next to him.

"I am so sorry." He cried

"No I am sorry." I said

"No you deserve someone who will treat you right and I can't do that. Well not right now I can't." He cried

That broke my soul, not my heart but my soul.

"Tasha I am scared." He said

"Of what?" I asked

"Love."
