Chapter 19

"You look so beautiful" my mom said while wiping a tear from her eye.
"Mom it's just prom not my wedding"I said while finishing my descend from the stairs.
My step dad came around the corner with his camera and I rolled my eyes they can't be serious.
"Oh my god" I sighed.
I did a numerous amount of poses before I decided that if i wanted to make it to prom I would have to start arguing.
"When I get back I'll take the others I have to go" I said and kissed them both before rushing through the door.
I jumped in my car and sped all the way to the school yard. I even broke a few stoplights.
I walked into the school gym and it was beautiful, the decorating committee really put a lot, the theme was being who you want ,you could dress anyhow you want like Dracula or like a fancy modern lady like me.

I turned my head hiding my face from the bright light.
Why the hell are they trying to blind me.
I thought as I slowly looked ahead of me.
Cameron was standing about a foot away from me. He had this really bright smile on his face. I arched a perfect eyebrow giving him a quizzical look.
Then he took a step towards me and then beautiful to me by olly murs started to play. I big smile spread across my face as I took elegant steps towards him. When we finally reached each other we stared at at each other and  and I was breathless.
He looked hot in a suit. He wore a classy black and white tuxedo and shiny black shoes, he slicked his hair back giving him self a James bond look. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"James bond?" I asked with a smile.
"At your service man, and you are ?" He asked.
"Me, just me" I said, he smiled and pecked my lips.
"I think that just beautiful" he said and lead me towards the dance floor.
We danced slow to every song . Even to lean on, what can I say we love being in each others embrace.
After a while we decided that it's best we did something else we drank some punch talked to any and everyone well Cameron did the talking I just dropped in a couple of words every now and then.
"Hello" said  Ariel the president of the prom committee.
"We all know what time it is" she said and a bunch of wolf whistles and cheering started.
She began to call out the runner ups for both prom King and Queen, and for some reason I felt like I was in the crowd during mean girls, I'm so stupid.
"And your prom king is ....... Cameron Kensington!" She yelled into the microphone the entire gym erupted with cheers. I smiled and kissed him before he ran off towards the stage and took his crown.
After the noise died down a bit they started to announce the prom Queen.
"And your prom Queen is... Everyone knows her..... Everyone loves her.... Jessica  Summers" typical, of course the captain of the football team and the cheerleader captain would be prom King and Queen, but I wasn't jealous because he's mine and she's just renting him right now. They did their dance which Cameron cut short to dance with me even though I rejected and told him to go back and dance with Jessica .
"I love you soo much you know that" he said I smiled a smiled that came from my heart.
"I love you too Buppa" I said.
"Buppa?" He asked, confused.
"Yep that's my new name for you" I said and snuggled deeper into his chest.
"Only you Ray, only you" he said and chuckled which lead to me laughing and shaking my curly  brunette hair.
"I'm getting tired of my natural hair again, I want some thing new" I said. Cameron looked down at me with a raised eyebrow.
"What's wrong with it" he asked.
" Nothing it's just plain I want something pow at the moment" I said looking at him with my face made up in concentration.
"Like what color?" He asked.
"I don't know maybe a reddish purple" I said. He kissed my lips then said something that made my heart melt.
"No matter what you do to your hair or clothes you'll always be Raine, my Raine , the girl who stole my heart" I grinned and kissed him, a kiss he wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon.
Did I mention that I love this guy to pieces.
