River

I put on my cover up and walked out side
"Oh work if baby girl" mark said in a really gay voice and I giggled. I posed a few poses and tried to look as sassy as possible
"YASSSSSSS" he yelled and I kissed his cheek
"What can I say I was BORN   To be fab" he put his arm around me and I grabbed my purse and we started walking to the car
"So where are we going?" I asked as we walked down the hall to the stairs since i didn't like the elevator 
"To a river, it's so pretty! Me and wade and bob used to go here and swim back in our teenage days and I wanted to share it with you" I seen him smile and I giggled
"That's so sweet!" I pecked his lips and he blushed 
"It's no problem! Your my girlfriend, and I want to share what with I love with you" i snuggled in his chest when we got outside, his own body blocking the sun for me
"I'm glad we get to swim with all this heat going on"  I fanned my self and he chuckled
"Your not the one in the way of the sun yah idiot" he opened the car door for me and I got in
"So how pretty is this place?" I turned the music up a little bit
"Amazing! Wade went a few days ago with Molly and he said the current of the water is a little harsh this time of year so it gives me an excuse to hold you close to me" he said and I giggled
"Dork" I pretended to cough and he looked at me
"I'm your dork" I wanted to kiss him but he was driving
"Yep and I'm your nerd" I seen him look and me as he pulled in somewhere
"And tada!!" He said parking in a gravel spot that just looked like someone had drove here to many Times
"I don't see a river" I said unbuckling and getting out of the car along with him
"That's because you have to look further" he moved a bunch of vines out of the way reveling a large river
I gasped at its beauty and mark chuckled
"Beautiful right?" He hugged me and I smiled
"Yes it is" I could barely speak. It was the way the light hit the water and reflected on some really pretty leafs that were on a huge tree that had 2 swings on it.
"Well come on!" He grabbed my hand and led me down the stairs that were obviously hand made and hard to walk on
"Did you make these stairs?" I teased and he scoffed
"Come on what makes you say that? Because they are horrible?...and yes,yes I did" I laughed and he rolled his eyes
"Yah yah laugh it up" he crossed his arms and I set my purse and stuff down
"Ready to swim?!" I grabbed his hand and stepped in
"Sure" he held on tightly to my hand as we went in fully
"Whoa you were right, this current is horrible" I said and he grabbed me close
"Thank you current gods" I giggled as he was glad I was  cuddling with him
We swam and I started to get used to the flow of the water. We were cud doling and swimming and splashing each other with the water
"IM THE DAUGHTER OF POSIDEN! FEAR ME!" I ran my hand across the top of the water making it splash everywhere
"Oh please water princess! Be kind to me!" He pleaded sticking out his bottom lips and swimming to me
"Hmmm...NO MERCY!" I splashed a bunch of water at him and he gasped swimming to me and picking me up
"NOOO" I squealed as we both went under water and came back up
"You have defeated me" I whispered acting dramatic
"And for an award I gain a kiss" he kissed me and I kissed back but we were cut off by his phone ringing .
I growled and he laughed
"Give me a second" he stepped out of he water and I kept splashing around while he talked to ever he was talking to. Suddenly I looked over to the a huge wave in the current coming my way, my eyes widened and before I knew it I was being pulled under the water by the current. I tried to scream but I ended just getting more water in my mouth I came up a but and took a breath but just went back under. I wonder if mark heard the splashing
"M..MARK!.." I tried yelling his name when I came up and he looked around slowly. He seen me and his eyes widened as he dropped his phone and jumped in the water
"(Y/N)!!!" He yelled reaching for me and pulling on my arm
I was about to go out of the water with him when I realized my foot got stuck and tangled in a vine underwater...just my luck. All I seen before I blacked out was mark struggling to get my foot untied up...then everything went dark

Marks POV

I seen her eyes close
"F*** (Y/N)! STAY WITH ME!" I tried to use one hand to keep her head up so she would not have her head under water. I felt her foot come free and her body floated up as I grabbed her bride style and laid her on the grass.
I felt her pulse...it was very weak
"No no no baby come on COME ON!" I felt warm tears run down my face as I reached for my phone. When I grabbed it, it had a huge crack on it...I guess it landed on a rock when I dropped it. I dialed the number and a lady answered
"911 what's your emergency?" She asked and I looked at my passed out girlfriend
"MY GIRLFRIEND DROWNED AND SHE IS NOT WAKINH UP BUT SHE IS ALIVE!" I started panicking and she tried to calm me down... Telling me they would be there shortly
Her pulse was getting worse and worse and it didn't help that this place was pretty well hidden. I was relieved when sirens were heard and all I can remember from the blur of my tears is them telling me I couldn't stay in the truck with them, and them driving off. I got in my car a drove off following the truck, hoping that my girlfriend would be okay
