Ending

Marks POV

Finally! After a year and a half I'm finally going to go home and see my family. I did have fun in Africa but I really missed my kids and girlfriend
I held the plastic in my hands and ruffles them around. I was going to try to remind (y/n) about what happened the first time we met, when she had her adorable sweater over her head and when she seen me you could see the happiness and shock grow onto her face, IT WAS ADORABLE! I'm so lucky to have her in my life

I got out of my car and walked up to the door of the house that me and (y/n) bought 2 years ago and I knocked on the door. The same knock that I knocked the day I met her
Knock-knock-n knock knock- knock knock
I remember knocking like that because I was nervous this was some cat fisher but turns out that it wasn't, it was only the most lovely girl I had ever met in my whole unties life!...sorry I'm getting just a LITTLE bit cheesy
Nobody answered the door so I knocked again...and again.....and again. I walked to the car and pulled out my suit case. I rampaged through the bag to search for my keys and I found them in a small pocket on the side of the bag.
"Gotcha" I muttered to myself while throwing the keys up in the air and catching them, then walking back to the door. I slid the key into the keyhole and turned opening the door as I walked in
"IM HOME!" I yelled and awaited hugs and stuff...nope. Silence.
I just thought they might be out somewhere so maybe I could surprise them when they got home so that sounds pretty fun. I sat on the couch and grabbed the remote flipping through a few of the channels until I found some show called 'impractical jokers' so I laid my feet back and watched it. I felt my stomach growl after 15 minutes of watching the show and remembered I have eaten absolutely nothing today out of excitement so I'm pretty hungry. I stood up and walked to the kitchen yawning in the process I tiredly shuffled to the fridge and opened it...that's weird it usually has a lot of food and stuff in there. I shrugged it off and grabbed a bag of shredded cheese and pored some in my mouth, yes sometimes I eat shredded cheese like this DONT JUDGE ME! ((that's literally how I eat cheese...one of the only ways infact))   I put the bag away and picked up the fallen pieces of cheese off of the floor and threw them in the trash. Just then I seen something out of the corner of my eyes, laid out on the table. A peice of paper...maybe a month old was laid on the counter places along with a shriveled flower and a toy truck probably from willow and Oliver. I walked over to the paper and picked it up carefully

Dear mark,
If your reading this then your obviously back from Africa...and most likely no one is home with you...and I don't think there will be for a while. Anyways this is a note from Emma...oh and Oliver and willow, they just told me to say that this letter was from them to..anyways i need you to come to my place, unless changed I still live in the same apartment I always have, come quick the kids miss you

I looked at the note and quickly rushed to get all my things
*timeskip*
I knocked on Emma's door and waited a moment before the sound of the door opening and I was pulled into a bone crushing hug
"Mark!" Emma yelled and I felt to little people hug my sides
"DADDY!" Two little voice screamed and my face lit up with joy
"kids?!" I said and when Emma let go they both jumped in my arms
"Your beard is bigger dad" willow giggled petting my beard and I laughed
"It's hard to shave out there" I said and Oliver ran his hands through my hair
"At least they didn't cut off much of your FLOOF" he said and I nodded and looked at Emma
"You've shown them more of my videos" I said and Emma shrugged
"They missed you" she simply said and I seen her shift her steps
"Where's-" I got cut of my Emma shaking her head furiously
"OKAY NAP TIME!" She yelled and the kids whined
"WHY?! Daddy just got here" willow whined and I patted her head
"I'll be here when you wake up" I said and she nodded as they both ran to a room way back
"They go to sleep there selfs?" I asked surprised that they know to do that
"You know how lazy i am, it took a week but they got used to it" Emma said and she sat on the couch and rubbed her temples
"So where is she?" I asked and I seen Emma look up at me
" I have no idea" Emma said making me turn to her and my eyebrows furrowed together
"What?!" I said and she leaned back
"You heard me mark"emma said and I seen her lip quiver
She held up a note that was hidden in the couch cushion
"I wanted to read it but it was directed to me AND you" she said I grabbed  it from we and ripped it open

Mark and Emma,

It's (y/n)...I'm sorry for not being able to tell you this in person but I left...well you probably know that by now. I'm sorry but I feel like I'm not living the life I dreamed of living when I was a little kid, you know what I'm talking about...the traveling across the world and being mysterious. I feel like I had the life I wanted but I need to add something to it, I mean mark come on! We've been dating for SO long and you haven't put a ring on it... My first clue is
I see London I see...what? That's where I am and will be for a few months. I love you both.

I put down the note as stared at the wall
"What do we do" Emma asked and I looked at her very slowly
"We have to go find (y/n)"
