Chapter 5: Wake Up, Stupid!

Beck’s POV

Wake up, Beck, Wake up!! I can hear Aries’ voice but I can’t respond. I want to wake up to ease her pain instead I blacked out.

Beck? I think he’s waking up. I opened my eyes and I heard Carl’s voice. “Welcome back, bro.” He cheerfully smiled. I saw everyone and greeted me. I asked “Where am I and where’s Aries?”

“I’m right here.” Aries leaned in the corner and replied. “You’re in the hospital, kid.” A man in a coat told me. “He’s Dr. Dela Rosa.” Pearl introduced.

“What happened?” I asked to them. “After I saved you from the pool, I gave you CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. You woke up but ended up collapsing on the ground. I called Carl and Sebastian to bring you to the hospital.” Aries explained.

“It turns out that you have leg cramp and a minor head concussion.” Pearl said gratefully. I snorted at her and looked at Aries, she looks frustrated. She then left the door with a slam.

Kim thanked the doctor and the doctor took his leave. As soon as the doctor left, Kim close the door and said in a stern tone, “You were out for four days. Arisa is terribly worried about you. If made her cry again, I won’t let you touch her. EVER.” She tightened her fists but Carl calmed her down, she took a deep breath and said “I’ve got to find Arisa.” She left the room.

Everyone looked at me. I looked at them with a weird a face. “You know, she told us everything, about you and your little ‘moments’.” Everything? I snorted.

“So what’s your plan now, are 

you going to confess to her, steal her heart and crush it again?” Alice looked at me with an icy tone. I shrugged.

Pearl hit me in the shoulder and said “Idiot, just say sorry to her so she can be happy already.”

 

“Why would I do that?” I glared at her touching my shoulder.

Ella sighed. “She became depressed and rarely talks to us.”

“She only goes downstairs to eat or visit you. She would lock herself up in her room and won’t even entertain us.” Hazel depressingly added.

“Also, it’s not the usual Arisa. She is sad and moping than being happy and princess-like.” Marianne added and Yuki agreed.

I looked at them and heaved a sigh. “I’ll do it.” They cheered happily. “So when am I checking out?”

“Now. The mansion’s prepared a celebration at the newly prepared hot springs.” Aries and Kim came back.

“There are your clothes. We will go ahead.” Kim threw the bag at Carl.

“I’m beginning to like the hot springs.” Lisa said as the girls went outside.

“Who doesn’t?” Kim asked.

I opened the bag and saw my white v-neck shirt, my leather jacket, underwear, a pair of black jeans and black sneakers. “Arisa picked it. When she saw your choice of clothes, she immediately asked if you’re going to some cosplay convention or something.” Carl stated as he leaned on the door. I chuckled. Cosplay…really Aries? An otaku by heart. I headed to the washroom and took a shower.

MICHIYO MANSION

Carl’s POV

As I opened the door, I saw a banner saying ‘Welcome back!’. “Thanks everyone!” Beck thanked them with a cheeky smile. I rolled my eyes at him. “It’s not only for you, stupid…” Kim pointed at him.

“It’s also for Arisa-hime.” Maria looked at Beck sternly. Maria even doesn’t like Beck.

“By the way, where is she?” I asked.

“She ate and will go to the hot springs with Lisa, Hazel, Marianne and Yuki later.” Alice stated.

“I’ll just eat, too. I’m starving.” Beck said with an uneasy tone. Well obviously, sleeping for four days and not hungry? Only an idiot can do that. I didn’t noticed but Beck’s having a chesire smile. Damn, he has an idiotic plan again.

Beck’s POV

She ate and will go to the hot springs with Lisa, Hazel, Marianne and Yuki later. I have a stupid plan because I’ve got nothin’ to do. I started eating and saw the girls in their bathrobes going to the hot springs. I know because, in front of me is a glass door leading outside.

I stood up and left the dining room. I went to my room and jumped to the bed. “Ow.” I held my head slowly. I sighed and noticed a note on the floor. “Beck, don’t hit on Arisa. M” M? That’s weird. I threw it in the bin, start undressing and put on a bathrobe. I threw a chuckle. This is going to be fun~
