Part 1
Oh my god!
I could not believe I'd left this work to the last minute. My tutor was gonna kiiiiiill me! Ever since I'd started my first term at university in London, me and my new found friends had been partying non stop. I'd seemed to have forgotten that I actually needed to do a hell of a lot of work and get a degree at the end of this. It had been a wicked first few months and I just wanted to carry on enjoying myself. This life was a far cry from what I used to for 'fun' in my old town.
I'd had a fun night out last night with everybody, but I needed to do some work! It was early on a Saturday morning, and I was determined to get this paper done. My head literally felt like it was gonna explode as I sat down at my laptop in my flat's living room to start the essay about Shakespeare and blah blah blah.
BEEEEEP. BEEEEEP.
'What's happ- oh no.' I had fallen asleep. Head on the keyboard, hair everywhere, I'd even been dribbling. Nice one, Lucy. I started to gather my notes and books together when my phone went again. BEEEEEEP. BEEEEP. 'Alright alright,' the beeps were seriously loud and my head still couldn't cope with this noise after being out all night. I checked my phone and saw that my friend Pia, (we all called her P for short) had sent me like a bazillion messages.
'Ohh my god girl! I swear this is you?!'
'LUCCCCE omg you have to ring me!! What the hell?!'
'Lucy. Answer. Your. Phone. Do you even remember meeting him? What happened?'
Then she'd sent me loads of these pictures, of me, looking drunk as per usual, with this dark haired lad stumbling out of a club called Cable, under London Bridge station. Oh god, I looked a mess. Why had she texted me so many times?! I flicked through my inbox and I had tons of messages and missed calls.
'LUCY- WHY WERE YOU WITH THAT GUY!? YOU DO REALISE WHO HE IS RIGHT?!'
I sat down, looking at these pictures on my phone, and tried to piece last night together.
Pre drinks at Jamie's, we went onto the Opal Bar, then Arrow, then it started to get a bit blurry..
