Part 4
Jesus Christ, how ridiculous did this sound? I was a 19 year old uni student texting a 21 year old international world famous popstar. Why was he interested in me? Why was he texting me? I wasn't necessarily desperate to know, but it was confusing. Harry Styles could get any girl in the world, yet he was texting boring, average me.
As my mind started to wander, I realised I hadn't replied to him. God. Even the fact I was texting him sounded just ludicrous.
I looked at his text again.
'It's Harry, from last night. That's embarrassing, I obviously didn't make much of an impression ;). Lmao .x
I was just so taken aback that I didn't know what to reply, I was at a loss for words. Which is unlike me!
Sitting cross legged on the window seat in Costa, I began to punch back a reply.
'Sorry about last night. I was absolutely wasted and must have embarrassed myself completely. Really sorry again. X'
As I sent it out, my mind once again started to wonder about this weird predicament I'd found myself in. I started to think about how famous he was, how many girls he knew, his crazy partying lifesyle I'd heard about in the past and stuff, when one thought stopped me in my tracks. You don't even know him. You're making all these assumptions when you don't even know him.
BEEEEEP. BEEEEEP.
'Aw babe, you weren't totally out of it, I seem to remember us sharing quite a funny taxi ride home ;). Do you want to meet for coffee sometime next week? .x'
Fucking hell. The more I thought about it, the more I realised I was making a massive deal over nothing. So I met a guy in a club. We shared a taxi ride home. He texted me the next morning. He asked to meet for coffee. Simple.
The fact that he's a member of the world's most famous band One Direction shouldn't affect this too much, should it?..
(I know Harry isn't 21 but I wanted to set this a few years in the future)
