Chapter 20: A Nightmare?

You walk outside, to see fire. 

Your scar hurts.

It hurts bad.

You run  to the plaza, and see Shadow Knights surrounding the villagers. Theres so many of them. They don't notice you, only the villagers do. You spot Aphmau with Levin and Brian protecting them, but Garroth and Laurence are no where to be see-Wait, theres someone over there. 

You walk over there.

And you see someone with blonde hair and icy blue eyes, with Garroth's armor on, and his weapons. The guy is tied up, and he's trying to get out.
"Who are you?!" You ask, and he sees you.
"it's me....Garroth" He says, and you recognize his voice. You quickly help him, and he reaches for his helmet next to him. Then you both run out to the plaza again. 

But it's changed.

The shadow knights are gone, and the only thing they have left is injured people and a burning village.

Everything is destroyed.

Aphmau is still standing with Levin, but everyone else is injured on the ground. Except Laurence, he's still no where to be seen.

You run over to Aphmau, to make sure she's okay, and she is. Levin too.

Then you quickly check if anyone is dead.

You find no one at first.

But there, in a corner of the plaza.

You see someone, and you walk closer.

Laurence is bleeding, his eyes are open, but he's almost stopped breathing. And next to him Alexis is. She is dead, and can't be saved.

"..........I love you" Laurence suddenly says, and closes his eyes.

Then he stops breathing, and you start to cry. Garroth runs over, and his expression turns from worried to angry.

"That.....THAT BASTARD! I KNEW HE WASN'T GOOD AT ALL!" Garroth shouts, and Aphmau runs over. Her eyes are wide, until she sees Alexis. She checks if Alexis is breathing, but nothing. Then you see Brian and Dale walking over, and you cover your face with your hands. When Dale sees Alexis, he gets really angry. No wonder.

Garroth takes him away before he does anything, but Dale walks to his house, and slams the door. Brian just looks at her. Then he starts to cry.

Then you hear a crash.
You turn around, and see a tree just fell- And on Levin. Next to the tree, Zane is standing. And then the shadow knights attack again. You get hit by a arrow, and the last thing you see is Zane laughing. And he's stabbing Aphmau.

"NO!" You scream, and sit up. But you're not in the plaza. You're in your own bed, and before anyone can do anything- You already hear someone running up the stairs- You run outside, and to the plaza. It's dark, but you need to make sure everyone is okay. You hear someone shouting your name, but you don't stop running, until you're in the plaza. Everyone is in their houses, since it's night, but yo still hear a evil laugh. Zane's laugh.

And in that moment you know something.

That wasn't a nightmare.

It was the future.
