Chapter 23: War

NOTE: to the ones that entered my contest! IF your character isn't in this book, i'll BE SURE to add it in the sequel OR in the next (minecraft diaries character)xReader story! Sorry for not telling you earlier, i forgot, and i am truly sorry. But to make it fair, i've done it like this, and the then i won't have to edit some of their backstories!

Boom.

Then one more.

Crash.

More and more of those sounds kept coming. You almost couldn't hear them though;

The screams were louder.
So loud that you just couldn't concentrate on the shining weapon in your hands. The mithril broadsword that Evie gave you. She left for the forest with the young kids, and some injured people. A week ago, a group of people came to Phoenix Drop, and Aphmau let them all stay in the village. You only got their names and some of their ages: Rebecca (23), Nynx, Celine(20), Krystal.

But you try and concentrate on the weapon.

It's impossible.

You killed someone.

Not a person you knew, but you still feel like you're carrying the world on your shoulders, ready to break down any second. You didn't know his name, age, relatives, not even where he was from, What He Did.

You still killed him.

In a moment of anger, you did it, and you can't forgive yourself. He hurt Levin, Aphmau, Zoey and others. But now you were staring at the shining diamond sword in your hand, scared to lift it. The picture is still flashing in your eyes, the sword in his chest, and him falling from the roof you were standing on. If he didn't die from the sword, he didn't survive the fall. The blood was still on the sword, but it was dry. Next to you, Laurence and Kiki were sitting. You didn't notice they were looking at you, worried. At that point, you were sitting sweating, tearing up, just staring at the sword.

Then you feel someone hug you, and someone else holds your hand.

"Are you okay?" Laurence asks, he's the one hugging you.

"..............No" You say.

"What's wrong?" Kiki asks.

"........I killed him" You say.

"He hurt people! Do you still feel guilty?" Laurence asks, and you nod.

"You did the right thing" Laurence says.

"Killing people isn't the right thing Laurence!" You say.

"You didn't have a choice (name), you were angry, and wanted this to stop" Laurence says.

"......Laurence, i think she needs time to just.....Cool down" Kiki says, and Laurence just nods. Then you get up, and go outside. There's a little cave outside of the village, where you go if you're injured. In this case, you just ran there to be in peace.
You walk back to the village, the screams haven't stopped.

The only thing circling in your head is:

That person didn't do anything

He was innoncent.

It's your fault.

It's you-

"THERE!" Someone shouts, and you jump to the side, but too late. The arrow hits your shoulder, and you scream. Then someone covers your eyes from behind you, and then you black out.
