"I'm going on an adventure," I tell Atina.
She says, "okay, but don't leave Waterbury." Well where else would I go? She's so silly sometimes.
I stumbled across a large sum of currency in a chest so I'm set to explore the corners of my world.
First I found a kindly dwarf to help me find the nearby blacksmith for a small reward. I tell the goblin blacksmith, "I need a blade fit to kill evil people."
"I don't want anything to do with that," he tells me.
But before he can leave, I grab him and say, "Atina really needs this, please sir." And I hand him a bit of the treasure, goblins will do anything for gold.
He looks down and says, "Okay, I have what you need." He goes to his carriage and conjures a dagger. He gives it to me and tells me, "Be careful little kid, you best hide that." I didn't know goblins were capable of that level of emotion.
Now I'm on my way to my home territory and I'm prepared to do what I must with the dagger tucked in my tunic.
As soon I reach Atina, I can tell Kered is attacking her physically. She is on the verge of unconsciousness. He lifts a fist and is about to give a devastating and possibly fatal blow. That's when I strike.
Kered goes down. The magic drains from him in pools of red. He has no more power.
I turn to Atina. She has a face of shock, "Y-you killed h-h-him?"
"I did it for you, Waterbury can be happy again!" I told her excitedly, "Just imagine the possibilities with out him."
She begins to cry harder than she already was, when she takes out an odd device.
"Hello, 911, my son killed my husband..."What is she talking about. New creatures are arriving to Waterbury. They are flickering red and blue and has a siren like sound.
